    What a fine memory, it took my dad Duane Burnett 20 years to restore N47D. I think it is one of the finest staggerwings around. GREAT !!!

    I flew DC-3’s in the early 70’s (Saudi Arabia) with an “ancient” guy who started in aviation in the early part of the 1930’s as a corporate pilot flying Beech Staggerwings.

      They have a sound that is all their own. Center pipe is on one cylinder. right pipe has 4 cylinders and left pipe has 4 cylinders! That is where it gets it's bark!

    The Staggerwing is one of the most comfortable easy plane to fly. It does what you ask of her!
