My mate had one with no rev limiters. It was insane. It never blew up no matter how hard he pushed it.
I have an orange speed four with a TT600 engine swap. These bikes are awesome. A small windscreen really makes a big difference.
Why? The engine is the one thing that makes the Speed Four better than the TT600.
yeah bro why wouldn’t you just change sprockets its the same motor. you ca. make it go upwards of 150
@@mikesleik489 TT600 has forged internals. Dosent matter now, the motor blew up 4 years ago LOL

I got a 2003 color black. I love it....there is no many bikes like that..😊 ..
I really like that verse. Great job Sean! BTW 3:34 to 4:20 you can see the chain is maybe a little loose? be careful
Wife had a 05 in black, loved it 😊
".....Or that guys.... Acura." Lost it....
As someone who's seen and attempted to fix all of his friends "laid down" first bikes, which are always totaled, this statement hits different. Ha ha ha.
This video convinced me to get one. I absolutely love it!
Top speed? I’m thinking of getting one
I ended up buying one too!
How have they been,im thinking about getting on,kind of cheapish here in the uk
@@MrThebennettman I've hit the low 140's on mine.
@@binauppal876 It's been a great bike so far. I got mine with 5k miles on it, and now I'm at around 10.5 k. No mechanical issues so far. About to replace the cam cover seal and bolt gaskets because I have an oil leak up there. Also replacing the spark plugs because it has been taking a few tries to start recently. All very normal maintenance. I've taken it on a number of 2-3 hour trips and haven't ever had problems. Also, since the tt600 is essentially the same bike, it makes finding parts somewhat easier. Also, certain bikes from that era use the same parts too (Daytona 600 has the same forks, and thus, the same front mudguard, etc.). I'd go for it if you find one in good condition---it's a super fun, badass looking bike.
I own a green one and im in Love with it
Never heard of one, but I just saw one online locally and I'm looking for a 1st bike. Went to see if you reviewed one.... looks like a winner!👍Like the uniqueness.😁
Did u get it? If not what u get as your first bike
I had the radiator cowls and belly fairing in orange. I think it gave the bike a much more aggressive look. I always got compliments and people mistook it for a speed triple.
Great video, never noticed how loose your chain is in this video tho.
Ahh @1:22 sounds so good! I have an orange one.
I have a 2003 speed four and its black.... i love the blue color
Was this the first "words of wisdom", I wonder?
I had a blue '05 one as my first bike ten years ago. Quick, comfortable, great brakes and light handling. Loved it but was snatchy at low revs as I had a race exhaust. Part exchanged it for an RSV Mille! I do miss having a naked bike!
What was your top speed?
@@MrThebennettman it says 135 mph online.
I know but my R3 said 103 and it went 115 and my Suzuki bandit 1200 online said 145 but it goes 180 lol
@@MrThebennettman I think 135-140 on gps is pretty realistic man.
first bike ive owned mad i sold it. have a speed triple now so was worth it
The European fz6r.
How comfortable is it for the taller rider?
It looks much better in blue, I always see the ugly yellow version!
I've got the 'ugly yellow' one :-) love it, stands out from the crowd.
I just bought a yellow one
With only little over 5000 mi.
397 pounds , not 450.
speed tripple
+Stephen Jones it's a speed four
