You can do this on any platform, fyi. If you’re ever curious what a song is called, you can go on, say Spotify, and type the lyrics to the search bar and it’ll show up. On podcast apps you can type a part of a conversation you heard on a podcast and it’ll show up. AI transcribes everything now so it’s easy to find anything.
As an MN I have to say this is the most overrated burger ever. Almost always under cooked unless you go lower heat and spend way to much time cooking. A grilled burger is 100% better. Give a tatertot hotdish over this anyday
Sadly, more like $2000 for A5 wagyu of that size. $200 might get you one A5 Kobe 10 oz NY strip steak, which is why I've never personally had the privilege. My taste buds just live vicariously through Andy and "Babe"...🤤
@@blt-pop8705 Thanks for the info! I just wrote down a number I _thought_ was high. Turns out I was way off. Andy just uses Wagyu for _everything._ which is commendable, I guess. Wagyu cattle have a better living standard than ordinary beef cattle. I don’t ewt mich meat but when I do, I should eat it too.
I really just wanted to say "thank you" for all your cooking videos, which you put your love and experience in. Thank you, and may your goals be reached no matter how high they are 😊
A Lucy done right??? Look at the cross section in the beginning, the cheese isn’t even melted. The crust is very dark, close to burnt, and yet the cheese is not melted?
hey andy dunno if i’m late to the game 😅 but i’m interested knowing your story of how you became such a great chef thank you and your lovely wife’s contributions
So close, but what makes it a juicy Lucy is the fact that the cheese OOZES out from the middle. Still, everyone knows you have earned your stripes Andy!
Having cheese stuffed in the middle of the burger. Apparently someone asked the restaurant to put the cheese in the middle and exclaimed “that’s one juicy Lucy” and that’s where it got its name
I’ve had a Juicy Lucy from both Matt’s Bar & Grill (where they call it a Jucy [sic] Lucy) and the 5-8 Club in Minneapolis. Both of them claim to be the originator of this particular delicacy, but neither looks as good as Andy’s.
MN here. Good job using American cheese. Just gets good and gooey. Looked pretty good! Props on using the onion oil to cook the burger. I hope it was as delicious as it looked. If you're ever in town, I'll take you to Matt's. The Nook is also amazing.
I love watching you cook. Stay away from the current food channels and get your own. Your style unique, your dishes look scrumptious and Im sure taste amazing along with your personality which is right up there. I enjoy watching different chefs and their trends and styles and you sir are right up there!
I live an hour away from the twin cities in Minnesota (where the juicy Lucy originated) so I’ve tried both of the places that each claim to have made it first. Matt’s and the 5/8 club. 5/8 puts more cheese in the burger and has many different combos and Matt’s just has the jucy Lucy (which juicy being misspelled was a typo on the original menu) personally imo Matt’s tastes way better. Juicy Lucy’s are very tasty when done right!
I know social media chefs always show the cross-section of the burger. However, here in Minnesota, it’s kind of a rule to not cut your Juicy Lucy in half. Now you know if you ever visit!
look i’m not saying it didn’t look good but but that cheese was not melted. to get it fully melted internally you really need to grill it or just use american cheese (instead of what looked like thick pieces of cheddar)
Hi Chef it's me again 🤣👋 Still asking for you to make pempek from south sumatra I really hope one day you will read this, because im really curious how you gonna make that 😅

You made Minnesota proud today Andy. Thank you for sharing your craft with the world.
Now the question is Matt’s or 5-8?

Just tell us.
Man made 30lbs of mince for 1 burger.
Do you know what the mince is made from please?
As a Minnesotan, I can tell you, this is a Lucy done right
As another resident of this state, Yes he did

As melted as Gordon Ramsey’s grilled cheese but still looks like a great burger
😂
That’s exactly what I was thinking too lol
I promise it's not.
I remember this burger from man vs food where apparently two places splits the city into two, each favouring one of the places.

I’ve never heard of a juicy Lucy! It’s giving lazy Susan 😂❤
It’s a Minnesotan thing of some disputed origin.
The one thing about cheese inside burgers.... It's like biting into a lava volcano 🌋 and you'll burn your face off.
Food aside, great music choice ☺️
Andy! I love the subtle music in the background and your music taste is sick!
Something about that reel is absolutely therapeutic

The argument has always been between Matt's & the 5-8 for the original... i prefer the Nook over both. The Paul Molitor FTW.
