Funny story: I actually recently encountered a stalker.
I'm an artist, and I think last month, someone asked me and other artists to draw disturbing art of cats (I mean, kittens being murdered, cats having seizures and things like that) they were confronted, and they said they would stop..but they made an alt account. Asking for more disturbing art..they made even more alt accounts, and even threatened to off themselves when confronted again..turns out they literally seem to have every social media ever tho. They haven't bothered me after that..still really creepy tho.

Back then people did not bat an eye if women reported their stalkers. No one would take them seriously and one day later they'll be found "missing" all of the sudden.
Why do I feel a little mad when hearing this? Even though it was back then. Anyways, it's so mind-boggling that this even happened with the justice system neglecting this.
The sad thing is that if they were to be investigated, they'd would most likely be deemed not guilty for reasons of insanity.
However, people like this are the ones that need to be put in jail... especially if they're this far out there.

Being found Not Guilt for Insanity is VERY difficult. Even if that WAS the verdict, you are not free to go. You are sent to psychiatric facility.

also it’s not like the movies where a plea for insanity lands you a short stay in a public hospital. Usually you get send to specialized ward which can be even worse than prison in some cases. Unlike prisons which are heavily documented you don’t get to see much in the psych wards and who knows what really happens in those places.
