Hasbro HASLAB H.I.S.S. Tank review | Kato's Kollection Today I take a look at @hasbropulse exclusive HASLAB H.I.S.S. Tank, courtesy of G Toney #katoskollection #haslab #GIJOE #HISSTank
Great review! I'm way more impressed with this vehicle than the Razor Crest! Hasbro has surprised me! Very happy I backed it, and now have it in hand! At least we all have an idea what to expect from the Dragonfly, now! I just got the payment notice this morning, on the HISS Fire team set for this vehicle! Got to love the fans that help each other out versus Hasbro picking and choosing who to gift these sets to!
You are on your firsst sstep on world conquesst! The schematic on the bottom is a nice homage to the blueprint instructions with the original vehicles.
You know you're crushing it as masterclass youtuber when folks send you Haslab of any kind! Great look at this hotly anticipated release! Now I too am pondering to sticker or not to sticker as your review shows how awesome it looks sans decals!
Great review my friend and super generous of him to do that.!! So you better repay him back with the Deathsaurus!! Lol... Anyways thumbs up my friend. I'm expecting mine along with Deathsarus to arrive within this week.
We all apply different amounts of value to things like lighting, sounds, optional parts, etc. I'm curious what you think of the VAMP release coming soon. Most people seem on board with $100. When I compare the VAMP to the H.I.S.S. I see the H.I.S.S being twice the size with base value of 150% (clearly not twice the prodution cost but easily 50% more production cost) of the VAMP. Since the figures are $25 each a $100 VAMP = $75 for the vehicle. At 150% the H.I.S.S = $112.50 + 3 additional figures ($75) = $187.50. Now add in the additional pieces (2nd canopy, 2nd set of tred covers, nose gun, auxiliary guns on the main gun, and missle pods) for a $50 value now giving us $237.50. And the lights are another $50 giving us a $287.50 value. If the extra pieces have zero value to you because you don't intend to use them then just having the option is worth $15 to $25. If you never plan on using the lights I still put $15 to $25 of value on having the option. So we may be at $217.50 worth. Then let's consider the exclusivity. Some people don't put value on that. But if you look at secondary market prices, convention dealer prices, etc, the exclusivity multiplies the value by at least 50% if not 100% or more. I consider the exclusivity to add 100% or double the value. That's a $575 value. I'm curious as to how much you think the VAMP w/Clutch is worth and how you compare it to the H.I.S.S. In conclusion I'm not trying to convince you. I'm really just curious. In previous discussions I've had with people about value of different aspects I typically find that about 1/2 of the people I talk to put little to no value in things like exclusivity or optional parts, and yet contradict themselves by talking about parts count as value and being o.k. with secondary market price increases. I guess I'm trying to get a bead on just how people calculate value and equate it to price because in sales it's all about adding value by assessing each individual and what they value in a product be it a car, furniture, a house, or a toy.
As always your mileage may vary. I haven't had any loose joints or any head wobble on any on my Classified figures, male or female. Everyone should remember that a reviewer can only review their copy, but that isn't necessarily representative of a common flaw or merit. Please don't say most when it's only some. Why don't more people understand that when a person has a problem they shout it from the mountain tops and are often a vocal minority when people that love something typically are quieter because they assume that others are equally happy. Maybe I'm consistently lucky. But 98% of the time when a You Tuber or other social media person makes a claim about a "common" or "widespread" problem with a toy I don't have that experience. And I consistently have problems with products from companies that get a lot of social media love. I absolutely love my H.I.S.S. and all the figures and excesories. I would easily have paid $500 or $600.
Oh, yes, the weapons yes. I hadn't addressed the weapons. I was just talking about joints. The weapons are often too flexible, and even after straightening, they get re-bent way too easy. But until last night, I didn't know that people are having problems with the female figures heads being loose and wobbly. I'm sure that some copies have problems. But when mass producing at this level (not the HASLAB, but regular releases), there will be a wide variety of minor flaws. I'm not saying CLASSIFIED is perfect. Just that I often find that with any toy line, be it Classified, MP, Black Series, etc, that a lot of reports of "widespread" problems are exaggerated.
all toys should be so expensive that parents have to miss a morgage payment should they buy one for their kid. i wonder why hasbro is dying? sweet toy though.

My Fire Team just processed as well!

Thanks for being the chooser and choosing this guy
@@KatosKollection😂🤩💯
If i could go back in time, I'd back this just for that Cobra Commander figure alone. 😢
It's a great figure, for sure

🤣🤣 one step at a time
Awesome review. I don`t collect joes but this seem like an excellent Haslab release. Great review Kato, you keep hitting home runs!
Thanks, homie

As much as I appreciate the kind words, this speaks much more about the kindness of others than it does about anything I've done 🤜💥🤛
@@KatosKollection You have remained humble. And I think the world of that!! So thankful for people like you, sir!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
This things pretty sick. Ngl 🎉
Indeed!
Oh man. This HISS is pretty sweet. I would've loved one, but I already pledged for the Roboskull Mk II (which I wanted more anyway).
That Roboskull looks awesome!
Wow how generous, and congrats. Good review.
Thanks, Robert 🤜💥🤛

Thanks, dude!
Really thorough review I enjoyed it. That little cobra commander is the Mickey Mouse ears edition pretty special for some people.
Didn't even realize that. That's awesome
I don't understand the MM ears comment. Sorry but I'm a bit ignorant on some trends and slang etc.
Google "mickey mouse cobra commander"
Beautiful man😮

So I opened mine and wanted to hear someone else's thoughts on this. I like it, I'm just not sure if it was worth the "price of admission".
I can certainly see that being a common theme among buyers

It's #teamSnake vs. #teamChicken this week.
I'm team chicken!

I'd consider it a miracle if you've not received a newer Joe figure without a warped weapon.

If you have to decide between a H.I.S.S. or a mortgage it may he time to stop collecting
Like Kato said, if it’s you having to decide between a toy and essentials, collecting might not be for you at the moment
