I live in Illinois. Most of the times I saw Confederate flags, it was black people from Atlanta with it on their shirt or a sticker on their car. I literally thought it was a black thing when I was little

If you’re going to get one made to be something else then you can save even more cause you were going to need to get it restored anyway. Restoration is where you can lose your backside. However for some makes and models they now offer complete body replacements. This can save you 1000s of man hours by eliminating the time to remove and strip down rusty parts. If I can ever get the money I wanna build John Wick’s 1969 boss 429 mustang ( engine choice is variable as many ford motors fit in the 69 mustang)

That's a great model! I don't have it, but I do have a 1:18 scale Screen Machine's Diecast of the General Lee. I recall seeing a review of the black version of this car. The Ghost Rider variant. It came with all the flame accessories, and it also came with several trim pieces to change up the model years of the car. The General Lee is a 1969 "B" Body Charger. The long, narrow tail lights and the center grill divider are correct for the 1969 model year. For 1968, (My personal favorite) the rear tail lights are rounded. Two on each side, while the front grill has no separator. It's just one full open grill. For 1970, the taillights are the same as the 1969 model, but the front is a full open grill, like the 1968, accept the 1970s grill has a chrome trim that wraps around the open grill, and can be seen externally.
You’ll be looking for the Bullet hitman car if your pinning for a 1968. But for a bit of more specific information on a proper General Lee. You’ll want a charger R/T with the 440 magnum and the 4 speed cement mixer manual transmission. In 1969 the biggest change was engine colors. The 1968s even the R/Ts were a turquoise blue. It was Chrysler corps standard engine colors. In 1969 R/T Magnum engines were all painted red from the 340 to the 440. Less hot 440s and 318s and standard engines were still painted turquoise. But anything headed for a high performance mopar was painted red

Hopefully mine should arrive soon on the west coast. I also went for the orange, but not the stickers. Just wanted a straight muscle car that reminds me of my old 68 Torino coupe (I know it’s not a Torino, but it looks close enough to me) . I got orange because my 1/6th scale is my custom Adventure Team and that’s a team vehicle color. Plus my custom retired Clutch needs a ride 😂 There was nothing racist about the Duke boys anyways. I’m not sure even the nemesis Bosshog was. Also if you dive into history, General Lee was not pro slavery, he was more in it for other politics and reasons. Sorry that’s controversial but true. good review bro ah man! it looks even better orange! ok, the decals, but even without. you re so shocked, you forgot the ram rack in front, ha, ha French Canadian here, and I loved the show, I could nt understand anything that was said, but the action was addictive enough to keep watching every time. many of these shows helped a lot to learn English. translations are trash, many are made in France, the accent is different enough to feel strange. and, one really wants to hear the genuine YEEEEEHAAAA!!!! ha, ha I ll surely get the van, we ll see how much this cost me + transport for Can $ but if Ramen comes to a show near Montreal, I ll give the money to them instead of transport. the black tanks look pretty sweet. so now you know... The flags on the trunk were hand painted and the reason they stopped having them was it became too time consuming. They were going through so many cars during filming that they just did not have time to paint the flags on each new car.
I was thinking that the General Lee would make a pretty good Transformers crossover, but it occurs to me Hasbro would never ever do it because of that dreaded flag on the roof 💀

I'm not sure they will be available directly from Ramen Toy again,but other stores or secondary market, possibly
69 had the split grill so you need that lil piece. And the general lee had the bump gard on the front for racing 💪🚬🤠
