I interpreted the Faithless poem the same way, but I also think it could be written from the perspective of someone who feels that way even if they logically know that’s not the reality. Even if you have an abortion at a stage where it’s not a proper baby yet, it can still be a mindfuck of what society says about it or just the simple human instinct to think “what if.” I suppose the message being imparted is still an anti-abortion one I’m not very good with poetry (hence why I like watching your videos), but because it’s from the perspective of the carrier I see it more as the emotions the speaker is feeling, regardless of whether their logic says it’s correct or not.
