I was watching the broncs play yesterday. Up in the coaches box they had kevvie… 5 premierships under his belt. Beside him was John Cartwright, with a premiership with the panthers, and origin and international honors. Running the water out to the players is alfie, maybe the greatest bronco… with premierships, state and national representations to numerous to mention. Any big headedness from the players and those three have the clout to put em in their place. Poor demetriou has no such clout.

Souths biggest mistake was betraying Adam reynolds for Latrell and boy is that mistake costing Souths many years of success. They should have known when Latrell was at the Roosters he lost two games for very one he won and that's why they let him go, he's just a centre.

Seeing lots of comments about JD not having the sort of premiership/origin pedigree as a coach and coaching team to pull players into line and build culture. But Andrew Webster and his team don't really have a big pedigree in premiership/origin success at the Warriors either, but are still getting the best out of their players and have a great culture. It can be done, but perhaps JD didn't really have, believe in, or stick to his principles and make the all players buy into/adhere to it. Strategically JD is a great coach, but other aspects impt to team performance.
Good start for Jye Gray at fullback, his coping and return with that first high ball was impressive. And his work rate energy was really noticeable compared to Latrell. That sort of work rate takes pressure off the minds of other players and allows them to not think about covering for others, and to better contribute. Hopefully Souths show some improvement with some of these changes/coming changes.
Latrell is the problem not coach and grey showed how to play fullback you just give 💯

They literally beat the Warriors who are a top 4 team on their home turf after being down 12-0 in the opening 13 mins.
They also came back from 18-0 down against Canberra who also placed in the top 8 last year.
If they’re so much as a flat track bully at they’re their winning the games they’re supposed to which is why they’re a consistent finals footy team, if other top 8 teams lose to the bottom 8 it’s on them and they should be laughed at not the Sharks, but they got flogged by the Tigers so I guess something went amiss there.

Cronulla scores 34 points, the full back missed or was side stepped all night or wasn’t even in the frame when the try was scored yet the comments below talked him up.
