The times when he breaks the character give me hope for him. To see and hear what he is like when he is not screaming and the actual calm in his voice
Iâm new to Mr. Oompavilleâs content. Found him this past month and have been watching all of his videos from newest to oldest. This man heâs invited here was clearly involved in some sort of theatre, band, or other artistic endeavour when he was younger. His mannerisms in both speech and body language paint this pretty clear. Having been on the internet, Iâve unfortunately seen his bad sides before in other commentary videos where heâs flailing around on the ground covered in food seemingly completely immobile. Up until now I had thought that the fat mess was all that he boiled down too. Seeing the stark contrast between how he acts in those clips and how he acts here tells me that his caricature is largely a performance but has actual holds that are strongly baked into who he is as a person. Like a fat Robin Williams. Not to play armchair psychiatrist, but that is literally my job so.
From what little I've gathered,; he actually was a theatre kid, and also a gifted violinist.
Iâm amazed by the commitment of this man. I refuse to believe this is how he acts privately all the time. The childish mannerisms, the do what I say attitude, the half-serious half-joking answers, and simply the way he speaks HAS to be calculated. I say this because he was a relatively normal before his weight gain

I'm a livestreamer and i have to be ON for 8 hours at a time trying to be funny. The wheels are obviously turning and he's trying to be funny. Honestly the way I see it, He's a guy who has optimized his life to maximize his success and during that journey he discovered what he actually cares about as a human being, He abandoned what other people thought of him in pursuit of success and more importantly to him, pleasure. He went for what gave him the most excitement in life. In many ways i've done the same thing and that much i can respect.

I believe that the current Nikocado is a persona he wore for too long.
His persona had some aspects of his real personality when he first started, but it slowly devolved into being a charicature that dramatisizes his more negative personality traits to make his content better.
But he wore it too long to a point that the persona took over his actual real personality and that's why he acts almost like a caricature of his actual personality all the time because it consumed his life.
It's a shame, because he can't change his current personality or else he loses all his income revenue that he needs to pay rent or for food (which is where most of his money goes to, for content that is.)
