Hey dude, just a suggestion but could you just simply show what materia you have in which slots all in one clip instead of jumping around showing pieces here and there.
If you have Omnistrike ready to go too by using two unbridled strenghts with Tifa before you stagger, you'll get the Stagger percent up even higher. I used to do that method in Remake. Omnistrike into two True Strikes into a regular uppercut gets you up to 295% if I remember right.

Big numbers are definitely possible without a lot of set up. I am doing my hard mode run, and the second Roche fight was kicking my ass a bit. So I threw on the gengi glove to help out. With bravery on, on a basic 160 percent stagger, infinite edge, I hit 24k damage. That's no real set up either.

Have to point out that Enemy Skill Materia also boosts all stats and also gives access to Sonic Boom at lvl1 which also grants Bravery and Faith BOTH when used

Dark side with infinity end and sleek saber is broken. You do 9999 damage without accessories. Also infinity end has hyper armor no matter the attack.
Tiff with no accessories can do 12k damage in less time than cloud takes for Infinity End. If you use Fury Ring with unfettered fury lvl 3 she does about 20k with two dive kicks or a true strike. Her dmg per second is absurd. No one comes close to her damage output unless they use Magic
Yuffie’s clone will cast spells with her. Won’t be as strong but still that means four spirits for the price of one if on an arcane ward.
AtkMAtk helps too if you can get the Attack stat higher than you can get the M Attack
I'm stuck at the brutal challenges lmao, the 4th one is killing me. Can't even imagine how messed up the legendary section will be

destroyed it without genji gloves.
Set up is easy. glass cannon build, cloud, tifa, aerith.
i tried cloud, caith, aerith from some other video but that build sucks.
aerith can do same role as caith, she is just missing 15% but she has waaay more materia slots and waaay higher magic than caith. Plus caith is slow and has awkward movement.
So I swapped caith for aerith and picked barret. Went to round 9 consistently but something was off. Just couldnt finish. Barret has 9k hp, but magic is low and slow and his damage is consistent but not highest.
U want highest damage as possible. So I swapped barret for glass cannon, aerith and tifa. First run, was test, immediately went to round 10. Build had wrong materias, so I corrected it.
Went to round 10 again but died. So I optimized the materia. 3rd try is a charm. Destroyed it.
Brutal is harder than legendary imo
@@FinalFantasy7Re-Agree. Brutal is harder. Playing with a moderate understanding of how Sephiroth works brings him back to babysitting Cloud.

whats the full setup for cloud as magic, and whats the full setup for physical ?
My favorite build: cloud, Tifa and Aerith. Tifa has enemy stagger, ATB assist, and the speedster keychain. Cloud has the maxed out enemy weakness paired with maxed Swiftcast, And the same maxed magic weakness paired with maxed magic focus. First Strike with Aerith. ATB boost in Tifa and cloud. So I do an arcane ward and cast magic with cloud. Then I’ll do ATB boost with Tifa and use unbridled strength, use the divekick, the focus strike, omni strike, focus strike, and that gives ATB back to Cloud. It’s a little slower after that having to wait on the ATB boost, but the enemy dies pretty quickly. On the stagger I will do Omnistrike, true strike, true strike, and then let cloud do infinity strike or his limit
The thumbnail made me expect a build for Aerith. :/ Really annoying the game forces you to use Cloud pretty much all the time--like, I know he's good, but I want to experiment with party comps! Would love to be able to just run a Yuffie / Tifa / Aerith party.

You can do it in NG+
You can also nuke bosses with skills like infinity's end and Yuffies 3 atb skill as well. Physical damge gets stupidly high like magic. Also as good as aerith is her not being available in part 3 is reason enough to practice setups without her imo.
I also showed a physical damage build in the video and used exactly infinity's end. As for Erith I like her because of the Arcane Word which doubles the spells.
Part 3 we will get Vicent and Cid, don't see myself using anyone else 😆

they really should have given everyone some way of increasing stagger multiplier. Tifa and Cait are not enough. I wanted to use the new characters but between locking Cloud into every party on first play through and Tifa still being the best stagger multiplier its just feeling like the last game
i agree with that having cloud lock up really limit party building . i Love tifa (i main her in ff7 remake she is OP) but i wanted a party like maybe red 13 tifa yufi or something like that. now you put already cloud . you have only 2 slot left and tons of party memeber(and new ones :( .
I feel like square wanted us to often change party member by region or something like that to test everyone but to be honest i feel like everyone will just stick to 3 main chararacted(i mean 2 with 1 lock..)
There is a third option. Which is Odin. But that seems like it would be too clunky to actually build around.
Aerith also get an ability.
Aerith's judgement ray also increases stagger %, but not as effective.
They all increase stagger you just not using them right. Access with yuffie and use the element against whatever enemy. Yuffie is beyond busted for stagger and damage.

Yeah milking ff7 dry aren't they? In total to play the full remake (3 parts) assuming part 3 is the same price. Will have cost me $510 @ $170 a pop here. Pretty ridiculous tbh. And yeah, no character saves carry over like the original. That sucks too.

I guess cause she's on ward duty and she generates atb really slowly. It's viable if you use yuffie instead of Cloud in the simulator and have yuffie equip the atb assist materia and have her spam brumal form
Hi, I have a question, why everyone use Cloud for magic attack on endgame, I don't understand why not you let Aerith handle the strong magic attack while you let Cloud cast the stop instead? Isn't Aerith built for magic?

Aerith is a super slow attacker imo and makes it difficult to gain ATB fast. Idk if that's why most people use cloud, but it's why I do. His stats are good enough to be far more versatile than Aerith. Her ATB gauges are better used for support as well, since you wouldn't have time to have her set up and then cast tier 3 magic while the enemy is staggered.
@@ianlabar974 the atb can be rectified easily with the right equipment and materia. Plus with her wards she can make herself invincible while casting spells and dual cast them. Throw in an instacast materia and she's sending out those Ga spells with no charge time
@@chriskoloski32her wards work with everyone. She can just slap arcane + radiant + atb then have someone else throw their spells immediately without having to wait for her to build atb again.
All about ATB. Aerith can throw Wards down and cast.
One build I think that is highly overlooked is all magic yuffie cloud aerith. Yuffie has synergy with petrify, swift cast petrify and magic focus petrify/poison, doppelganger sitting in atb/arcane ward, cloud as well, aerith buffs/debufcs and has heals on Autocast. Use brutal form to build up atb for cloud, switch to cloud, fire off level TWO spell back to back, yuffie casts petrify 4 Times in a row EACH time and with swift cast and doppelganger those 8 petrifies come out very fast. Staggers everything

Can you tell me where to get get the slimy tentacle for genji gloves I want to do it first before I do my hard playtroughy meaning go to the specific chapter in hard mode and just do what I need to get the gloves
I haven’t done it yet, but if I had to guess it would be the maloboro fight in gongaga.
Each Genji equipment requires a material from the World bosses you can fight on hard mode.

@@leocreuu3254 Yes you can just warp to the world bosses on Hard Mode, If they were completed on a previous playthrough. If not then you'll need to complete the all Combat assignments. Also to fast travel to said World boss on hard mode, I recommend start a chapter with all (or most) regions unlocked I choose to start chapter 12 once you dock the tiny bronco you can fast travel anywhere.

Not a direct answer but I don't think so. All the limited materials are not at the spawn point fore I bhard mode
@@user-fh5ho9fj8q That's too bad. I was hoping to save slots by getting the combo materia for everyone and getting the best accessories for everyone as well. It sucks that materia doesn't give birth to a new copy when you master it like in the original.
kind aweird coz rare materia like vit, strength and speed are maxed out at 100% (each materia only gives 25%) but u only get 1 of them in the game anyway...
But the game has a ceiling set for 100% bonus?

Is this for "2nd" playthrough or a first playthrough build.
Late game - second playthrough. You could probably set something similar up early game, but you won't have cetran bracer or genji gloves until chapter 13 really. You also don't have 4 weapon ability slots until very late game assuming you're doing everything you can possibly do since they are directly tied to weapon level, which increases based on SP earned, so levels and SP books(blanking on their name lol)

theres 2 of each 2 with no materia slots but high stats and 2 with 4x 2link materia all in the temple
Also out of curiousity why use buster sword on cloud and not igneous saber? Imo igneous saber is clouds best physical dps weapon.

Why bother usin tifa (i know is for the extra stagger damage) and cloud, having the best W mage in the game and yes is yuffie she can W-magic everything, makes "hard mode" a baby mode!

This is a terribly made video at no point do you just stop and go through all of the materia you have equipped on Cloud at one go you just keep jumping around every 5 seconds. I had to pause the video at like 5 different times to find out exactly what materia you actually had equipped ffs.

Dont waste it with so much set-up enjoy the game you only need like 20k damage to kill the boss 60k is an overkill , use infinity edge by cloud and don’t waste atb on true stike cause it does not give the atb back and it sucks in this game, use stop materia sure it helps a lot, from what I have realised that these strats make the game boring takes away the thrill of the fight once you pull it off, trust me your so called beloved game, you will not pick it up and play again.

Did you really just took your time to write a text saying that true strike sucks? Oh well, let me just let you know that, you can do 3 true strike in the time that you do one infinity edge, and without genji gloves you will get capped at 10k, but even with genji gloves 3true strikes will do more damage than 1 infinity edges and also increase the stagger bonus damage. If we talking about physical damage Tifa it's by far the best, and true strike one of the best abilities, if not the best.
Havent been here yet but really intrigued about the idea for atb ward to tifa for more true strikes?
