Yuffie with doppelganger ability, combine quake materia with magnify and another quake materia with Synergy materia. Doing this with doppelganger active will make her cast quake on everone twice, it's not about the damage though, it's about petrifying everything fast. The doppelganger only does 10-30% damage, but the status effect stays the same as the original. This costs no mp or atb, all you have to do is activate doppelganger and then switch to a different character and she'll do the rest. Any non-boss fight will be a breeze.
Petrify OR Poison/Petrify + Magnify, Petrify OR Poison/Petrify + Synergy on Yuffie who has Doppelganger mastered. In combat, switch to Yuffie and activate Doppelganger. Afterward switch to another party member and use abilities while Yuffie's Doppelganger is active.
Using Barret with your enemy skill self destruct set up would be most optimal as you get the auto regen and auto protect in his folios + you can use the weapon ability that gives protect on overcharge use to keep your protect up

synergy with poison and petrify is so satisfying not for the damage but the potential detrimental status of bioga and quake\stone\petrify the fight is over before you depleted the enemy health yourself I also put it on yuffie with doppleganger ability
The self destruct tifa build sure sounds a lot like the self destruct infinite ascension cloud build from remake minus tifa getting infinite limit breaks.

With the comet plus synergy, does the character with comet needs to have mp to be able to use it, or it's free everytime you do an ability?

Does synergy and healing work? That would seem OP to heal with 0 MP for every ATB use.
What do you mean by pair barrier with a regen? Do you mean like pair with heal or do you mean like hp absorb?
I mean Put regen on Tifa, and then manaward on Tifa to keep her at High HP

Yeah that works well! I like using Yuffie so synergy on her doesnt do me a lot of good

I didn't know that was a things but by the sounds of it I think it might be the same thing. The Build would also work with Cloud.
