Don't wait til you're about to get the scan and then ask the operator to justify the scan to you. Only the doctor can do that; he or she is the one who ordered the scan and he or she only knows why.
I've had to have 5 CTs in the last year alone because of getting Covid-19. It's getting exhausting, I still have decades left to get more, I hope they can do an MRI instead sometimes.
Never let them ct scan you. Your literally killing millions of healthy cells each scan. If you get sick and nauseated after ct scan you are suffering from radiation sickness. They will never acknowledge this

I don't know whether it's because of Corona or CT Scan because doctor don't agree with the fact that CT Scan cause dry eyes or mouth. But the good thing is finally I can feel much better than a month or two after that.
Scare - mongering! I had a CT Scan (am 38 ) live in the UK. This report is misleading (American thats why) - its - the radiation level is 13 times higher than normal background radiation (or to put it another way 3 weeks worth of background radiation). My father had loads of CT scans in Belgium over a 10 year period - no health probs until the original cancer (melanoma) finally took its toll - but he fought it very hard - lived 9 and a half yrs longer than expected (lost him January 2010)
The PCP in Vancouver WA was very upset when i refused to sign up for CT scan. He was trying to sell it for discounted wholesale price . He painted a scary grim future yet would not sign up FMLA form for deatiled evaluation via naturopath.Anyways, i am prepared to quit my job ratger thsn succumbing to scare tactics of this family medicine doctor. (He said CT scan without contrast is like an Xray or radition worth of round trip in 25 hour intercontinantal flight😂)

A hospital fried half of my friend's brain with this scan and now he's blind in one eye and numb on that side of his body.

I had a CT Scan and now I have dry eyes and dry mouth with mild earache, don’t go for a CT unless it’s a life and death situation

They are killing people with these scans. I suffered brutally from radiation poisoning after my ct scan. Cooked my insides and destroyed my life
