Slim Reaper that's what I figured. I got mine off of amazon for like 160$ because they were "scratched" lol they were pacesetters that had the cheap paint that chips off the first time you drive it. Oh well I'm happy with them anyway.
Alex Murray I am very happy with my long tubes even the cheap eBay ones I've got. I plan to cam my truck next fall and will have the collectors changed to 3" should have plenty of flow then for my mild setup

Stage 2 you shouldn't really need that stall converter... and if you're worried about low end torque a set of 3.73 or 4.10 gears aren't bad for a 2wd truck. You'll recover some of that power loss down low. 3.73 is a nice midrange highway friendly street strip set up but if you're wanting strictly strip then go 4.10
Brother just be glad youve got a 4L60 when you go to get a converter you can at least find a budget option. Im running an 80 so to my knowledge theres no budget stalls out there.

Alright dude honest question I need to know ASAP please take the time and get back to me but I’m trying to get a huge cam for my camaro and it’s a light car only 2800 lbs I’m looking to get a cam that the rpm range is from 25-6500 rpm and it recommends a 2500 stall could I still drive it and it just not be at it’s full potential till it reaches 2500 I’d like your input if you think it’d be fine
funny thing was between the 2500 stall, 4.56s and 35s it only put down 220 rwhp and it would hit 60 in 6 flat and I could top it out I'm guessing around 130 mph. I'm building an ls1 for it now should be a bad bitch soon

It's the torque converter in the transmission. You can order a aftermarket converter with whatever stall speed you need to accommodate your cam and engine setup

jj Watson yea it is not very torquey on the bottom. And with no converter it doesn't help lol. It may be better than that idk. I may go do it again when I can get a timer on it instead of using my phone to do it lol
Watch out with that ecoboost tho. My general contractor had one it is quick but it ended up having to go to the shop too many times . He gave up on it and ended up with a yota now.
Ryan Martin yes correct he did, my C5 corvette is the same way. I know him personally and the shop that did it for him, same thing on my C5 corvette, LT straight pipe no cats, they have to get deleted out of the computer.
Ryan Martin the spacer trick does work well on these though as I have longtubes on my truck and don't get a check engine light but maybe once every 2-3 months. I am un tuned currently.
