He parked two Tiny Homes on his property, converted his garage into a luxury modern studio, and listed all three gorgeous spaces as short-term rentals. The business generates about $6k a month, which covers his mortgage, living expenses, and then some!

This is one of my favorite tiny house videos I've seen! He has such a great personality and an amazing decor eye. It's also really inspiring how positive he is and how he is intuitive to creating "moments" for his guests.

I really love the intentional vibes he created for each space!! I was hysterical when he was showing off the record player/cassette tape/CD player... the 1900s!!! 😂😂 I was saying that these newer generations will never know the struggle of the pencil or pen in the holes to wind up the tape of it came out... so many things from our generation...VHS tapes, too!! He did an amazing job with his tiny airbnb's!! I love almost the live plants as well, bringing the outdoors in, and it gives that cozy home vibe!!

Omg, I remember him! I live in the Bay Area, and if I remember correctly, I saw him on the news. He was talking about his tiny home, how he AirBnb’s it out and how this was his main income now. I’ve loved tiny homes for a while, and I remember telling my husband about “the guy on the news who AirBnB’s a tiny home out of his backyard, and pays his mortgage with the money he makes.” (That’s pretty freaking impressive, because we live in a very expensive area) l. I didn’t realize he has 2 tiny homes, and a converted garage! SO cool, and smart. Also, each one was so unique, and different.

Since you mentioned that you loved the tiny home on wheels and could live in it, I wondered if you could maximize your profit by living in that tiny house. You could jazz up your 800+ square ft home, as you have the others, and then rent it out for an even higher price. Last, I agree that some landscaping would finish the aesthetic, when/if you have the extra cash flow. Great video! Awesome man with an awesome laugh!

Each space is so cleverly thought out and pretty cool. I’m surprised that he was allowed to add all of these units to his property. I don’t think that this would be allowed in Canada, though it should be due to the current housing crisis. Well done sir.

I’d spend some $$$ improving the grounds around the tiny homes… a few big plants, some fence decor, wall hangings or a small water or rock feature would make it even nicer.

6-7 years ago my daughter built a home. I gave her a bit to add an apartment for me and granny. Granny just moved in, she has yet to pay a mortgage out of pocket, Airbnb did. Granny saves her money and pays rent, as I will. A win win, to add income to your home! You may never pay for it out of personal earning! Smart!

I can picture this with some awesome landscaping! Add taller decorative trees for canopy and to hide areas, some rock/flower beds & shrubs, or a little pond with a neat gazebo and a fire pit and he'd have his own little oasis!

The only concern I ever have is the lack of ventilation for cooking. You’re never pumping the oils, the grease, the food smells out of the house. And without a throat cleaning on even a weekly or monthly basis, the buildup gets so sticky. It’s extremely hard to remove.
I agree--that is why most hotels only offer a microwave and a mini-fridge.

Ansel, I love your channel and your converted ROI tiny lux hotels. You are a true creator and interior designer. Oh, I have a dual induction cooktop unit too. I use it constantly along with my portable convection oven. The standard-size oven is used for storage! Again, great job. Yes, I have hit that subscribe button. lol
