@anzb6727 almost every pvp shooter I've played except for apex and overwatch is pc console crossplay. Battlefield, hawked and call of duty to name a few. And it's a big deal for console players. It would be the equivalent for console players to be paired up against switch players. Most people would want that because you would have an advantage, but it definitely wouldn't be fair
A ban system is actually really needed in these kinds of games because otherwise in high-ranked matches, you'll just keep seeing the same heroes over and over. Like it was in the alpha, only Hela and Punisher - didn't see any other dps hero. bans will force people to adapt and try something new

I love multiverses, but they are hardcore missing out on my money. I'm waiting to unlock a few more characters before I settle on my primary characters and until that I'm not buying any skins, emotes or profile aesthetics. With the free character approach it's more than likely I spend more than I want to in the first week, and possibly even more then I was willing to if I try a character at first and then realize after buying stuff for them that they're just not in my wheel house.
I was lucky enough to have gotten the founders edition for Multiversus so I have everyone and should be able to get most of the added ones and I completely agree. Plus it just kinda sucks to have to buy them with in game currency or real money cause what if you save it up and buy one and then don’t like the character etc
Awesome news. Role lock ruined overwatch. Then 5v5 ruined it more. People are good at heroes not roles. Role lock just limits everyone's individual carry potential and gives no actual benefit, just an illusion of safety.

I understand the concept but at the same time can’t they just balance out the heroes so this doesn’t happen?

they need to make it cross progression. Tbh my PC isnt good enough for gaming, but I want to keep the permanent skin I earned

its unnecessary locking roles or characters being able to change mid match to adapt is very important
