You just can't help but respect this guy.
yeah but this sounds...suspiciously communist....
PirateChest you have less than no clue what you're talking about; you can drone on and on about a free market all you want, if you hit me with your finish, get a 3 and I jump right up and laugh, how many people do you think are gonna buy a ticket to see you again?
Shane Stephens I think he was joking
i so have to repeat what you say, " You just can't help but respect this guy". you so right on with your comment.
Damn... Al Snow got swole
Al Snow is such a dude. He's just a smart individual with a very grounded sense of himself and the business.
al snow is such a dude??????????
I think so yeah. Honest no bs guy.
I've watched all the Al Snow shoot vids now on Hannibal TV. and my god isn't Al 1 of the most down to earth wrestlers to listen to with a great insight to the wrestling business as a whole. Nice 1 to all involved in putting these video's together and posting for all of us to enjoy. . Thanks
That's why the 80s and 90s wrestling was so good. Wrestlers helped each other when a push came and they showed their respect by helping their opponent down the road. Things are so different today.
Scott Steiner said that when Flair was booking his own matches everyone wanted to kill him.
Axl Rose Scotty Steiner is the man. And his WCW videos talking about Flair are the greatest
Snow really does help explain the intricacies of the business so well for those of us who are not in it.
Is it just me or does he look like he's in better shape now than when he wrestled? I don't remember his arms being that big, lol.
He looked jacked in his short TNA run vs that indian dude a few years ago. Check it out
Dude is definitely in better shape.
He’s made some lifestyle changes to improve his health.
Wasn't just lifestyle changes for health. The caméras always showed wrestlers like Al snow ( due to no body oils or tans) would look normal sized back in that era. In person, Al was a big dude.
Al was always a big dude but he is way more chiseled cut than the head dayz
Al snow looks like mac from it's always sunny in Philadelphia
😂😂wow word
al snow always been underrated his whole career.
Mick Foley said a fan came up to him, and told him a story about how his dad abuse him, and he said I wish AL SNOW was my daddy, Mick asked him why. he said "Al snow never beat anybody" LMBO LMAO ROFLMAO!!!112121111
@@evilubuntu9001 Foley and now have had this bit going back and forth at each other for years ! As far as I know no one has been able to discover what started it.Could be the same as the feud between Kimell and Matt Dameon
@@evilubuntu9001 he had a good run in ECW and was world champion... soooo...
@@floggyWM1 ‘world champion’

It’s mind blowing to hear this man share his insight and experience the way he does. I remember watching as a kid and believing this guy was as weird and crazy as his character, job well done Al you made me believe as a kid.
Luckily for Mick, Flair couldn't throw a shoot punch. Shoulda stuck with his Chop.
@shtarrin He's joking. What's wrong with you?
@Sith Jawa the joke was, flair chops harder than he punches
Always liked Al back in the day but since I've seen a few of his interviews I have a newfound respect for the man. Laid back yet straight forward dude. Very informative.
Great Guy, Mr. Snow I recommend checking out his Syfy horror flick Overtime. When I met him at NC con a few years ago, I made his day by having my copy of Overtime to sign, he was very happy and even took a pic of me with the DVD.
So little of that was about the actual altercation, but that was a great video.
Love these videos! Al Snow is a smart guy and good for the wrestling business! Good to see him teaching the youngsters coming into the business!
I can sit and listen to this guy talk about wrestling for hours. I don't know if it's his voice or how he speaks or both. Al seems like an awesome guy.
Damn, the old man is in Great shape!
They should show these videos to all the NEW wrestlers who are breaking into the business. A GREAT LEARNING TOOL : Al Snow !!! Love the old wrestling stories. You can just tell like he said the sign of RESPECT !!!!!!
I was pretty tight with Al during the attitude era and after, he is a great guy ,a true gentleman and a genius
Love hearing his insights of the business
Al Snow = Class act. (he also has a smoking hot 30 year old wife lol)
He does enjoy the younger chicks why else would he be in better shape now as when was in his prime- full schedule wrestler.
I seen that. Happy for him too shows hes a good guy. Snow is in phenomenal shape as well 💪💪
Al is so knowledgeable it's crazy. He GETS the business.
Shawn Michaels should watch this video
Man John cena owes alot of guys money for there Favour's lol
lol, Yawn Cena would be fucking broke if this was still a thing..
@@ElBribri Ain't that the fucking truth!
John who?
Same guy who hasnt won match in like 4 years and has put everyone over?...
Al Snow has GOT to be one of top 10 most underrated wrestlers in history
I love these interviews, but why does Al Snow look like he's in a jail cell ?
Maître Renard Irish ☘️ MOB
He's in protective custody because Head is looking for him 😂
@@jakep1979 Hahaha that's Al's Type of Humor, you should tweet it to him.
Cause after his hardcore March with Boss Man , After boss man got outta the handcuffs , he put al in jail
this is some of the info I wish I knew when I was watching as a kid. Respect for one another as athletic performers and co-workers. Most I could do when I met heels who were past their prime at/near main event status was to let them be themselves when they were shopping for their grandkids (no exaggeration there), and pass them off as look alikes. Jobbers and heels deserved more than they were given.
good dude....why Is it a lost art? who isn't teaching it and who isn't enforcing it
Ron Burr III
WWE
Why this guy does have a mentoring position in WWE is mind boggling. Such a great wrestling mind.
wonder if Cena or CM Punk ever gave some money back to those who put them over...
This guy certainly has an understanding of the business and explains it with ease. Must be a smart dude, and a good talker - he never hesitates at all. Should be a polititian!
Als awsone you got to love the guy i mean he got a manican head over let alone all the backstage stuff he dose and still dose seems like a great dude
Lots of people saying similar things on here,,, he went from playing a hokey character 20 years ago to a really smart well read guy now,, kudos to him
al was always in shape and a great wrestler
Jesus...Al looks fucking great.
"A lot of things have got lost" Thanks Vince M.
amen Mr.Snow and thank you
Makes total sense
He always sounds like the smartest guy in the business. He should have a job in the big promotion.
I thought the backstage fight between Mick Foley & Ric Fair happened in Huntsville, Alabama, not St. Louis.
Wow.... Never thought I'd hear a story where someone takes a swing at Mick..
These Snow deals are the best!
Snow is so cool, it's no wonder him and Mick are tight, both awesome guys as well as wrestlers
first!!!!!! kept it up Al Snow is the man!!!!
Al Snow was underrated, great wrestling mind.
Al Snow looks great I love listening to this guy he seems like a very intelligent guy
The rock Vs Al Snow late 90s, cage match. Amazing match
ThePhysicalReaction yes, that was a banger
Damn man. The echo sucks. Can't understand the questions.
Al Snow is jacked
You can go to many just plain ole regular type jobs their can be a fight. I'm sure with Pro-Wrestling where one guy wrestles rough or injures purposely it could get heated. Just like in straight Jiu-Jitsu tournaments it can get heated especially when a guy just straight out cheats I.e. eye poke etc.
in 2021 grey, but in GREAT shape..
Al has the best insight. Watched like a hour of him already
very interesting.
Literally what Ryback was saying
Al said it "you really don't beat or defeat anyone. It's a soap opera show.
3:13 whose scream was that!?
I remember listening to Rick talk about this and he laughed about how Foley no sold the punch 😂
Snow is looking jacked af!!!
Met Al at work yesterday. He was super nice.
@John Elizondo Wal-Mart in Middletown, KY. Al lives real close to the store
Merch and heel ?
mick foley would have crushed ric flair for real if he had wanted to
@Death Adder Bringing up Meng like he was an actual fighter revokes your ability to say wether or not someone was a "tough guy". If brawl for all hadn't happened, you would be saying Dr.Death was toughest motherfucker in sports history. Much like with all wrestling tough-guys, Meng's only credibility comes from blatantly made-up stories from his friends. At least you can see Foley letting Vader break his nose and shit. Meng is a story.
Solid dude. And I ain’t talkin’ about how ripped he is. (Although, yeah.)
you forgot European champion in the description.
Al snow always been a legend
Mick Foley had more miles on his body at 35 than Terry Funk and Ric Flair combined in their senior years.
Well the pay isn't $300 anymore its crazy numbers now
What does everybody want? MERCH!
Ok , what's with the freaking nail clipper ?!! 🤔
Bang Bang!!
Looks like he's in good enough shape to wrestle today
On his podcast Jim Ross claims that the short scuffle started over Ric Flair's comments made in his book referring to Mick Foley as just a "glorified stuntman." Mick went to Vince voicing his opinion insisting that WWE give superstars an early copy of books that have statements made about them before release. Flair seen it as him trying to create heat so Flair swung at Mick.
Flair was an embarrassment. I child could see his fake wrestling a mile away.
Al Snow has a much much deeper understanding of how wrestling really works. Pity this generation of wrestlers
The Attitude Era was great.
Al snow is not the guy I expected him to be in these interviews.
Al Snow is the man
I respect you more al
What does everybody want? What does everybody need?
What he says bout the heel getting 20% of the merch sold by the bf is fair. There's no chance in hell bfaces get over without a heel making them look strong and powerful the satisfaction the fans get seeing the heel getting a beating is priceless in the case you are on that side of the coin. Me imi on the heel side I love watching bfaces getting beat once in the ground mostly when is a faction beat down ala N.W.O. kick them twice once they already beat that is what I pay for
Hey pal Al Snow is a Former European Champion respect it.😡
It's so funny to me that Al Snow, whos gimmick was being literally insane, is actually the most normal person in all of wrestling.
if i ever started a wrestling company I would hire Al Snow to help run it ans train guys.. he's very smart and would makenwrestlimg rassling again
He already has an academy. That's what he does now
Victoria aka Tara said her job as a heel was to make the baby face look like a million bucks. To do that the heel had to humiliate the baby face only to lose in humiliating fashion
JOB Squad 4 Life
He looks real healthy
he's right.
One of the few that took care of himself
IT'S BARNEY ROSS!!!
Haa ya right..Hogan would never give money to anyone for putting him over. Dude kept every penny from those shirts.
Wow
Al snow know his shit
Brett Hart could have used this information, Shawn too but Brett was running around telling anyone that would listen that he never actually lost the belt after the Monteal Screwjob. He never really won it, the outcome and punches/kicks are the only thing that fake when it comes to wrestling. The guys that refuse to lose to certain people/pull creative control take themselves too seriously and are usually bad for business. Definitely bad for locker room morale having a guy that thinks he's better than everyone else because he is winning predetermined matches. Omega is a good example of a guy that is great on the ring but stays level headed and has no problem doing a job. I know he probably doesn't have much choice but he always seems level headed and happy to do it. Could be wrong of course, some of these guys are good actors.
Bret Hart took the business seriously but was considered one of the boys unlike Shawn and the only guy he ever refused to put over was Shawn because Shawn told Bret he would never put him over. Bret did put Shawn over before that. Guys keep tabs on that for a reason. There have been lots of guys who have refused to put guys over because it would have hurt their "brand". Steve Austin tells a story of working with Sting and Ricky Steamboat for months, losing to them every night but it was cool because he was working with top guys. Then one day the bosses came to him and said he was gonna put over some nobody that they were giving a push too. He refused. Why? Because perception is 95% of reality. It doesn't matter if it's fake. If he loses to this nobody, then he'll be typecast basically as a stepping stone or a jobber as everyone likes to say by either the fans or the people inside the business. It's hard to break out of that once you're in it. Guys like Al Snow are proof of that, He had a nice run with the head gimmick but he's remembered as an average mid-card at best talent and he was really good!! BTW, Bret told Vince he'd drop the belt to the Brooklyn Brawler in MSG but not Shawn because Shawn disrespected him. I don't think he took it as serious as people think.
@@BCTTV_DTJ I don't think there were many people in wrestling who new Brett longer than Bad News Allen. ( or "Brown" as he was known in WWE. )
"Brett's problem was that he started to believe his own bullshit. He legitimately thought he was some kind of a hero. He had replicas made of every belt he ever won... I mean, who does that?"
" I lost count of the amount of times I said to Brett " You remember that we're just performers, right? You know you didn't actually WIN any of those belts, right?"
His voice sounds like Bret Hart
I hated his gimmick so damn much but he really has a great wrestling IQ
when rick was booking everybody wanted to kill him - Scott Steiner
Damn Al Snow done got swole
Always like Al snow.
Looks like hes getting interviewed by a cop that just arrested him for a DUI
I can respect the old school mentality, but I wouldn't agree with it. If McMahon is putting the storyline in my favor and you're told to lose, that now is your job to do. He is already paying you, why should you get a double payday? Kinda ludicrous in my opinion.
SFFL 1996 The idea is that the winner gets over and thus makes more money, but in order to get over he needs to have a good match. The guy who does the job doesn't get to sell more merchandise and get on the Fruity Pebbles box, so it's a matter of showing appreciation for the help.
If the product you sell is wrestling, it just makes sense to make it the best possible product and then divide up the profit among those who contributed, right?
If you're just getting paid to lose rather than put the winner over, might as well kick Daniel Bryan's head off in 18 seconds in every match. One guy does the job and nobody wins.
This is back in the day before the big money and guaranteed contracts came in. Plus Heels have merchamdise now.
wow he looks different.
I know right? The last time I saw him was back in the attitude era. Looks like he's jacked up. Old wrestlers usually bulk up and become brawlers, it's the only way for them to stay on top. Jericho is the exception, he's in his 40's and he's still doing back flips off the ropes! lol
I've noticed some wrestlers look much healthier when they get off the road full time.
Travis williams He definitely looks healthier spiritually. The old interviews of him show him with a permanent frown. lol.
Shoot. You should see Adrian Street now. He looks like a power lifter now and he's seventy if he's a day.
Why does Al look like he's been caught and is being interrogated in every video he's in?
