Love your bangs/fringe, darling look! Heartwarming to see Jason on the tractor; always reminds me so much of my own hubby, always loving to do the physical work, even now at seventy one!! How great that you had help with such a big project! We have left dear friends behind, once we made our move to be near our kids, so no helping hands near us! Then again it's always been that way, since Hubs is the one who always helps others, makes a project happen!! I'm ever grateful that he still can!!!

Leslie, if one didn't know that Jason has memory problems, you would think he is a regular guy - which he is. You two work so well together and create such a beautiful home and yard. You two are a great team and are making a good life with what you have.
Oh Leslie, your videos (both channels) are beautiful reminders to be grateful and celebrate whatever health we have and for the loved ones in our lives. Also that we may not know what challenges and pain others may be facing so practicing kindness always is what God calls us to do. Bless you and Jason. And enjoy that beautiful back yard, wow!
Oh my dear...just watched the video on your other channel. Just wanted to tell you that you are such a blessing and wonderful woman! In case nobody told you lately, you are doing great and your hubby couldn't have a better caregiver than you. And it is just so hard. My Dad passed away a year ago at 82 and had dementia a few years before. My mom had to deal with a lot. One day she had a doctor appt, for him and the doctor was running late and they were sitting in the waiting room and after 10-15 minutes, he threw the car keys on the floor and said "I'm done waiting! I'm going home!" Another time she noticed he was acting kind of odd, his balance was a little off. So the next day, she heard him wake up and saw a whiskey bottle sticking out of his pillow. They are not big dirnkers - just had an occasional cocktail before bed. The bottle was empty. She said "Daniel, have you been drinking this after you go to bed?" He said "yes." She's like just a little bit? He said "No." She said "a lot?" He shook his head yes 🤣 Needless to say, no more alcohol was left in the house. And then came the day where she had to take his truck keys away which she had been avoiding as she knew it would be so hard for him not to drive. It was just no longer safe. She told him and he wouldn't talk to her the rest of the day. After he died, she was going through his things and there was a shirt hanging on a hook in his bedroom. In the pocket of this flannel shirt was his truck keys - I guess he was hiding them in case he decided to break her rules 😢 So many moments dealing with this disease, sometimes funny, oftentimes heartbreaking. They say God gives the biggest battles to his strongest soldiers. Sometimes I wonder. But he must thing you are a very strong woman. God bless you and your family ❤
I love seeing Jason out working. You can tell that it makes him happy to be on his tractor. I am loving the backyard. Can’t wait to see the completed project.
Leslie, I am so happy you have projects on your own as much as you do with Jason. I think of you both so often and how brave you both are. As a nurse I get how you can pull yourself up on your boot straps. I am so glad for your recent news
It really concerns me the Number of young people and those in military and they give to their bodies and brains. This backyard project is so great. You will have so much to fill you on the bad days. I love your videos both on this site and the dementia one. I am a nurse as well and sometimes its disheartening to "know too much". Your a one heck of a woman with patience and grace. Keeping up with your hubby must be quite the daunting task.....lol. Its so inspiring to hear about your journey. Thank you for being such a kind and wonderful person.

We have some outdoor projects in the planning now the sub tropical summer is gone. I know the person with a progressive neurological disease in our home is looking forward to getting some hard work done. He misses his work but loves to potter around outside so we do our best to keep things interesting..

My elderly mom has cardiovascular dementia and it is scary watching her go up and down on her chairlift to the basement, but it is allowing her to have access to the family room down there, and it gives her some sort of independence. It is so good to see Jason with some sort of independence even though it must be quite scary to you and your friend. God Bless all of you.
