In the video the devil wasn't fighting Jesus, he was fighting Michael the archangel. Also, during the time of ride a cowboy, he wasn't following Christian values. In the interview with Tucker, he said he considered himself like the prodigal son, and now he's come home. Plus, he mentions that he's lost a lot of his friends in country music because of his now stance for the Lord. I'm so glad John is doing this.

After this song was released John went on Tucker Carlson show and educated him on the Bible, entertainment industry, and preached more truth than many preachers do on Sundays. The interview was almost an hour and a half long and I couldn’t stop watching it. John Rich did what God wanted him to do. Put this song out against the wicked stuff that’s out there now. Now, when he was in Big and Rich doing save a horse ride a cowboy about 20 years ago that was the music industry he was talking about in the interview. He’s been in it and knows what’s happening in it. Him being open about being a believer he’s focused on faith and family and not in the mainstream anymore. Good on him for giving that up. If you listened to all of Tucker and John’s interview, John said that he walked away an into the world in his late teens. He said he was a prodigal son of his father. If you know the story of the prodigal son, it means that John went out into the world and lived the life when he started his music career. And just like the prodigal son in the Bible, John confessed that he lived the life that he sang about. John seems to have left his worldly life and returned to his Father.
John Rich does mention a period in his life where seeking a music career presented compromises. It seems he's left that behind. God is trending, truth is on the rise🙏
When you mentioned John Rich is the son of preacher all I could think is Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." The Bible says the end of times began on May 14, 1948 when Israel became a nation again. Yes, we are in the last days but no, I don't believe we can predict Yaweh's ultimate timing. As to the persecution of Christians, did you see the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in France? But also check out the coverage of the black out that covered the entire city the following night with only one thing in the whole city lit up, a church. God is not mocked.

Jesus has not lost one of those who the Father has given to Him, and the Father is greater than all and no one can snatch them from His hand. The word picture painted in the Greek is that we are in Jesus' hand, and the Father's hand is covering Jesus' hand. Those who belong to God are fiercely protected by Him. Nothing can snatch you away. So again, the question is, were they His? Are you His?

The unforgivable sin is ultimately unbelief, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan which is the most extreme and ultimate form of unbelief, while one remains in unbelief like that they can never be forgiven.
My mum was a convert (she converted to the Catholic Church so she could marry my dad) and never really took on any of the trappings of the faith, just lived it. But when I was a very young child, she told me about the prophesies of the book of Revelation and what will happen when the Christ returns. I have never forgotten it and I am old now. I have lived my life with deep respect for our God and His expectations of me as one of his beloved children. All respect to this artist for having the courage to perform this song.
This song came out and then the opening ceremony of the Olympics happended and Paris was plunged into Darkness and the only light that could be seen for miles was a Historical Cathedral lit so brightly on a hill above Paris. I have always believed in God and have wandered away and have a past I regret, but two Easter's ago, I have been full on accepting Jesus as my Lord and I cannot begin to tell of the changes in my life and how I see the world. With opened eyes I can see the deceptions that are taking over earth and it would be scary if it were not for my faith in Jesus as my savior. I tried for years to read and understand Revelation, I scared me and made no sense.. But only in the last few years have I figured it out. First.. I had to read the Bible better, especially Genesis!!! Then I had to figure out Revelation is divided into sections. It now is a book that reasures me. Knowing God is in control and I have nothing to fear.
Pick up ANY book and just read the last chapter. Yeah, makes no sense until you apply the everything written before. And never let anyone make you doubt the Word by saying, "Oh, its just a bunch of stuff written by a bunch of different guys." WRONG! Every word was inspired and preserved by the True Author. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Study Revelation with Stephen Armstrong thru verse by verse ministries. God really used him to help me understand Revelation. The study of Genesis is also amazing

I was born in 1959 and raised in a Christian family, but it doesn’t mean I didn’t sow some wild oats. I was a wild child for sure. If I hadn’t had the Word instilled in me as a child and saw it lived out before me by my parents and grandparents I’m not sure I would be living it myself today. It doesn’t mean we’re going to be perfect and always do the right thing. Revelations is a scariest book in the Bible. I just wish I had done a better job of living it before my children. Thankfully the grandparents did a great job where I failed. It’s a regret I will always have to live with. The main reason I keep watching you and subscribe to your channel is because of the fact you shared how your parents brought you up in the ways of the Lord. I also love to watch your reactions to the rock music of the 50’s,60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Not a fan of rap but I respect the generation, such as my sons, who love it. I had similar experiences growing up in a Christian household and sowing wild oats. Unfortunately I too didn’t come back to living a Christian lifestyle until my children were in their teens and twenties. I have repented and am living the life I should but my children have not yet accepted the Lord, Christian grandparents are deceased. I’m praying for them.

I'm right there with you. Also born in 1957.my Aunt was a Cloustered Nun for over 60 years. She went in when she was 21. Thank God fir Sister Mary and her influences on me and my brothers and sisters. She was truly a beautiful woman. Gid forgives when we repent...I've done a lot of repenting in my 60's now.

I too like John said in his interview with Tucker walked away from my church and lived of this World trying to fit into it. I had nothing but troubled times. Then in my 50s started having medical and financial troubles. At one point in my life, I hit rock bottom. I was filled with anger and hate and was sitting in my living room watching a Preacher give a sermon, I started crying from the deepest part of my soul. I cried out to the Lord and in less than a blink of an eye, I felt God touching me, it ran from the top of my head all the way down to my toes. I instantly was freed from my hate and anger and the most beautiful feeling washed over me. I knew then God had listened to me and forgave me, He has always loved me, He was just waiting for me to ask Him for help and forgiveness. I am one of Jesus' flock now and and will never stray from the flock again. Remember, God loves you and is just waiting for you to ask for His help and forgiveness, turn to Him and you too can feel His Grace and love.😅

Loved the reaction. I’ve been a fan of John’s for years. He has had a lot of success as an independent solo artist. This song is one of my favorites and I listen to it often. The later part of the video is the battle between Satan and Michael the Archangel. John stepping between them signifies humanity and the battle for their souls. This song came out and then the opening ceremony of the Olympics happended and Paris was plunged into Darkness and the only light that could be seen for miles was a Historical Cathedral lit so brightly on a hill above Paris. I have always believed in God and have wandered away and have a past I regret, but two Easter's ago, I have been full on accepting Jesus as my Lord and I cannot begin to tell of the changes in my life and how I see the world. With opened eyes I can see the deceptions that are taking over earth and it would be scary if it were not for my faith in Jesus as my savior. I tried for years to read and understand Revelation, I scared me and made no sense.. But only in the last few years have I figured it out. First.. I had to read the Bible better, especially Genesis!!! Then I had to figure out Revelation is divided into sections. It now is a book that reasures me. Knowing God is in control and I have nothing to fear.
In truth, one cannot understand any of the NT without a firm foundation in the OT.

Thanks for checking this out. I was also one of the people who suggested this video. It touched my heart and soul when I heard it the first time. I was born in 1959 and raised in a Christian family, but it doesn’t mean I didn’t sow some wild oats. I was a wild child for sure. If I hadn’t had the Word instilled in me as a child and saw it lived out before me by my parents and grandparents I’m not sure I would be living it myself today. It doesn’t mean we’re going to be perfect and always do the right thing. Revelations is a scariest book in the Bible. I just wish I had done a better job of living it before my children. Thankfully the grandparents did a great job where I failed. It’s a regret I will always have to live with. The main reason I keep watching you and subscribe to your channel is because of the fact you shared how your parents brought you up in the ways of the Lord. I also love to watch your reactions to the rock music of the 50’s,60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Not a fan of rap but I respect the generation, such as my sons, who love it. I pray you are diligent about raising your girls up in the knowledge of the Lord. ❤😊🙏🏼
I had similar experiences growing up in a Christian household and sowing wild oats. Unfortunately I too didn’t come back to living a Christian lifestyle until my children were in their teens and twenties. I have repented and am living the life I should but my children have not yet accepted the Lord, Christian grandparents are deceased. I’m praying for them.

I'm right there with you. Also born in 1957.my Aunt was a Cloustered Nun for over 60 years. She went in when she was 21. Thank God fir Sister Mary and her influences on me and my brothers and sisters. She was truly a beautiful woman. Gid forgives when we repent...I've done a lot of repenting in my 60's now.

I too like John said in his interview with Tucker walked away from my church and lived of this World trying to fit into it. I had nothing but troubled times. Then in my 50s started having medical and financial troubles. At one point in my life, I hit rock bottom. I was filled with anger and hate and was sitting in my living room watching a Preacher give a sermon, I started crying from the deepest part of my soul. I cried out to the Lord and in less than a blink of an eye, I felt God touching me, it ran from the top of my head all the way down to my toes. I instantly was freed from my hate and anger and the most beautiful feeling washed over me. I knew then God had listened to me and forgave me, He has always loved me, He was just waiting for me to ask Him for help and forgiveness. I am one of Jesus' flock now and and will never stray from the flock again. Remember, God loves you and is just waiting for you to ask for His help and forgiveness, turn to Him and you too can feel His Grace and love.😅

Actually, it's not a redo of anyone. If you watch his interview with Tucker, he talked about how he wrote the song and how God simply gave him the scriptures and words to say. Loved the reaction. I’ve been a fan of John’s for years. He has had a lot of success as an independent solo artist. This song is one of my favorites and I listen to it often. The later part of the video is the battle between Satan and Michael the Archangel. John stepping between them signifies humanity and the battle for their souls. The portion of the Tucker interview where John tells the story of how he came to write the song is incredible. You should also check out his song “Earth to God”.
