Kathleen Hall Jamieson looks back at past and recent campaigns to understand how and why our elections are turning into shouting matches and attacks on integrity, with little focus on the actual issues. Kathleen shares what needs to be addressed if we are to fix the situation - regardless of Russian interference.
    Kathleen Hall Jamieson is the Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication and Walter and Leonore Annenberg Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Jamieson’s research areas include political communication, rhetorical theory and criticism, studies of various forms of campaign communication, and the discourse of the presidency. She is the author or co-author of 15 books.

    It speaks volumes that this video has a scratch more than 3k views and less than 5 comments. I find that just as terrifyingly insightful about the American mind as much as I do the content Ms.Jamieson has presented.
