- This tutorial will show you how to crochet a cute round neck baby dress / top / tunic. This dress is suitable for beginners.
For size 0 - 3 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
For size 3 - 6 months use a 5mm crochet hook
For size 6 - 12 months use a 5.5mm crochet hook
For size 1 - 2 years use a 6mm crochet hook
For my dress I used a 5mm crochet hook and Drops Pairs yarn (worsted weight).

Very easy to follow but mine came out really small even using a bigger hook.. any change in original directions for larger sizes?
This is my first project more involved than a beanie or a blanket & when I make it to round 6 where I should have 84 stitches I have 90 instead. Any suggestions as to what I can do or how I wound up with too many??
