@@matthewmatthew9485 hey tell me cavani doesn’t give you a little bit of nostalgia haha. Ruud always had that poachers instinct but Cavani has a bit of it too! I don’t think he’s anywhere near our original Flying Dutchman but Cavani gives me good memories of how traditional #9 soccer is played.
You prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
Something interesting about Ruud...is when he has time infront of goal he always shoots on a half beat...so he speeds up his shot...so his shot isn't in like with his step pattern...it's like his snatching the shot a bit quicker than he needs to.. I bet that helps to catch keepers slightly unprepared
Great insight. I’m a big fight fan and this is something that a lot of fighters do where they trick their opponent into seeing a pattern occur with one strike and then on the half beat throw something else. Really cool to see this technique translate across sports!
Thought this after seeing the goal at 6:27. He didn’t look at the goal once, he knew the keeper would let him have a first touch before coming out so if he shot straight after, the keeper would have no chance of closing the space at the near post
@@KingKuba1313 Yeah and how many Goals did Lewandowski share with other Strikers??? (Muller is not a Striker), Van Nistelooy had MANY competitions Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Diego Forlan, David Bellion, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, Louis Saha. and Lewa?? Pizzaro

@DDeglane16 he only did it for a season mate, if Fergie had of stayed no doubt he’d of scored a lot more, but sadly you can only put him in the bracket of Zlatan.. amazing for a season but that’s it.
VN scored some sitters for sure but how about that run out of the center circle? His flawless penalty kicks? His heading ability and overall hustle? The dude was relentless. He was magic for MUFC.

The problem is that people weren't so stupid back then...a penalty well taken is a goal...super important...8s like telling Michael Jordan that free throws are useless lol.
He could have scored more after the season Beckham was left which cause ruud a big problem because he was the playmaker for ruuud sir alex was foolish to sell him at the time he was king of free kicks crosses set pieces and playmaking

Phenomenal. Positioning and Placement, Cunning and Intelligence, Touch and Control, precise and clean finishing ... RvN is terrible, it is a real poison for the opposing defenders and goalkeepers GGMU !
It has been exactly 20 years today that Ruud was signed at United. Best finisher I've ever seen at the club.
God i feel old. I remember it like it was yesterday lol. What a beast of a player if only we could find a player like him nowadays.

44 goals, in another era this is a ballon d'or
Not this era..
Look at the competition back then lol
My all time favorite player..the role-model
Beat striker I’ve seen at United, and I’ve seen many over decades, he’s unbelievably underrated, evil and old school out and out goal scorer.
A true fox in the box. His penaltys are his longest shots at goal! 🤣🤣
How is this man offside so less.
The talent it takes to poach on that leval is phenomenal.
Like Inzaghi, but RVN is more talented. Both are great.
Ruud's best assests were his positioning and predatorial skill.

My favorite all time MU centre forward.
Without a doubt 💯👌
The guy lives in the 6 yard box what a legend
Man Utd haven’t had a true out and out striker since Ruud. It’s shocking we haven’t found someone to be this type of player in the current team!
Tbf its not easy to replace one of premier league best strikers
Hes one in 7 billion, we be lucky to see that quality again. He's right there with Maradona

One of the most deadliest strikers to ever play in the Premiership
Best striker ever in epl

Ruuuud......
Even his slightest touch can make a difference.
His first touch was out of this world,he could convert bad crosses into wonderful ones through his first touch
44 goals in one season what a season of ruud boy 2002/03
I loved Ruud as a kid cuz I thought he was one of the musketeers… when I got older, I realized being 💯 purest breed striker was being Van Nistelrooy
Before Crsitiano : Fox in the box.
After Cristiano : Tap in merchant.
