Marat Grigorian was staying in Thailand. Trainer Nick Hemmers also traveled to Thailand for a training camp in Pattaya. The camp was at Fairtex Gym and also a few times at the former Golden Glory gym Pattaya from Bas Boon who assisted with the video shooting. The gym now called Rage Fight Academy.
Because Nick Hemmers was arriving one week later, he asked his father, Cor Hemmers, who also stayed in Thailand, to take care of the first week of training the team with Marat Grigorian and Alistair Overeem.
COR HEMMERS
Cor Hemmers is the founder of the famous Hemmers gym, former Managing Director of Sports of GLORY, and former trainer of fighters like Ramon Dekkers, Bas Rutten, Alistair Overeem, Gokhan Saki, Errol Zimmerman, Stefan Leko, Chalid Arrab, Semmy Schilt, Sergey Khariton, Nieky Holzken.
To help his son Nick Hemmers, Cor agreed to pick up his old profession for one week.
MARAT GRIGORIAN ONE CHAMPIONSHIP BELT
After the domination of Marat Grigorian in fight organizations like Kunlun, K-1, and Glory, Marat has now set his sights on the One Championship belt.
Marat Grigorian, the current second contender in One FC, already had one title shot facing the One FC Champion Superbon Banchamek. Hemmers Gym, active at the top since 1984, is already 12 years led and managed by the new owner Nick Hemmers, the son of Cor Hemmers and the brother of kickboxing and Muay Thai legend Ramon Dekkers. Nick Hemmers, born from his father, Cor Hemmers, and the mother of Ramon Dekkers, is the youngest descendant of the Hemmers-Dekkers Dynasty. Nick Hemmers has already proven his spurs, and Fighters like Marat Grigoririan, Harut Grigorian, Jamal Ben Saddik, Jady Menezes, and Jonathan Diniz. Nick Hemmers has already conquered several champions' belts.
