I have the same Mazda 3 but a sedan version with AWD, premium specs...but I upgraded the wheels to 19 inch. With the premium gas...bro this car is a KILLER, fast, strong, light, a lot of tech...I am so happy I bought it
How much was it out the door?
Here in Germany 29k full spec fast spec but only the 150ps engine

how is the manual with the front wheel drive 2.5 naturaly aspirated 4 cyclinder? i have an auto awd 2.5 na one sometimes feels like the gearing is to tall in the auto i really do wish the awd model or the turbo awd came in manual but its auto only so what are you going to do

I take delivery of my 24 GT Sport 6 speed manual in a month!! What do you think of yours? Any weird quirks at all, and any issues with that pesky little cylinder deactivation?
@@mikepawlikguitar I don’t have a manual as I opted for awd but in my experience for my 2020 awd auto I have had zero issues with cylinder deactivation like I don’t even notice it. I have had some quirks with Auto Unlock feature but most stuff works as it should. Also one time the heat reversed like I set it to 60 and it was hot then set it to 80 and it was cold but that seemed to be a onetime software glitch

We need the Turbo Premium Plus to come in Deep Crystal Blue Mica and offer red, black, and white interior. Common Mazda make that happen and I'll buy it day 1

Customer orders are usually 2-4 months. If it’s already in the pipeline 1-4 weeks.

Same question here. I have seen someone fit a CX30 screen to a Mazda 3 screen so I definitely thinks it’s possible and will do so once the parts become available

I really, really like the way these look. I don’t know why but this newer 3 is cool. I own a Mk8 Golf R and admittedly, the R is twice the car this is in features and speed and all that BUT I still like the looks of this lol.
I wish they had a new gen speed3. That would maybe pique my interest. Cool vid though man 👍🏼
My only gripe on my 2019 hatchback is no rear vent and accent lighting, otherwise this cars are awesome.

Have a GT, non turbo since 2020….luv the car….just wish they would have refreshed the exterior for 24….disappointing….lease is up and moving to an N line Elantra turbo. Thx for the video, great overview

Off topic lol.. But where do you mount a front plate? Looks like you have to drill past the grill. I got pulled over a few days ago for no front plate in my 2023 vehicle. Newer cars don't have brackets built in anymore. And I'm not drilling into a brand new car. Wish I liver in FL lol
It mounts below the grill, but above the splitter, a little drilling is required.
I own a 2016 mazda 3 touring that's red. Was thinking of the tlx s type but this is more in my price range.

How does red leather hold up compared to black? I would assume they fade and look more orange after a while.
I have the 2020 Mazda 3 and the red looks as good as they day I bought it. Just clean it properly, and regularly.
I drive a 2022 model year Mazda3 hatch GT AWD in canada or Premium AWD in the USA and it's got what Mazda call "leatherette" on the door trim and dash, this is very similar to the $400 option on Mercede Benz A-class called "Artico trim on dash and doors"
It's nice that Mazda doesn't charge extra for this. Plus its not ideal to have genuwine leather on the doors as they are subject to moisture and rain more than the seats. Also the speedometer display is not 8.25in its 7.5in. i notice the door pockets are slightly changed toward the front for 2024.

Beautiful car! The only thing that is lacking is fog lights. There’s a big space in the bumper for that! I own a Mazda 3 GT hatchback 2018 and it does have fog lights which looks awesome! Awesome review! 😊
Does the heads up display show apple CarPlay navigation now? I know some of Mazdas other models do.

I'm did the same thing and wishing I waited too... but I want to see if Mazda will electrify the 3 in a few years, if that happens, I'll probably trade my '23 Sedan Carbon Edition for the electric version 3 .... fingers crossed.
When you're talking about the engine i dont really have to look at an plastic engine cover while hearing the wind more than you bro. It would improve the vid if you maybe put some animations in about how it works and do a little voice over. Besides that nice video, good quality
I can't find anything on Mazda's site about a wireless charging pad at the front. I only see the accessory inside the arm wrest. Can you verify ?
I own a 2024 and yes it has a wireless charger. It's a pos but it is there

Did you say the premium is fwd only? That is incorrect. The premium hatch is the only one you can get with a manual tranny. The automatic in premium is only AWD.
Can anyone with this car confirm that 91 octane will bump the power? Was under the impression you needed 93 in the tank to get the boost.

It's too bad the turbo engine is such a grandpa engine. Technically speaking, it puts down some solid numbers on paper, but the ECU tuning doesn't really make this close to the original Mspeed 3.
This has been said a million times, but this car with this engine could have been a real beast with AWD and a manual transmission. It really at least deserves the stick shift.
Yes and also revamp the Automatic transmission. Its dated
Personally I doubt many people would want to buy a Mazda 3 for its beast qualities. The car is effortless, fun, competent and classy as is.

There’s a 2l hybrid version in Japan. A friend just got a 2023 one.

Yes! You can additionally get side skirts and a rear diffuser.
Did they upgrade the rear diff on these?
I can’t find any information from Mazda saying they made changes to rear diff
Just combed through the spec list and it seems no powertrain upgrades.

It’s not ruined with stop/start is it ? The 2024 CX5 now has that awful annoyance on it. I cannot stand hearing cars shut off and on at red lights & stop signs. I know it can be turned off but I do r want an expensive heavy duty starter and battery.

i have the predecessor to the 3 tho..its a manual 2003 mazda protoge5 thats modified with a turbo kit, upgraded fuel pump and injection and a standalone ecu making just under 250hp. other performance mods are sport brakes and rotors, 2nd stage clutch and a lightweight flywheel..super fun car!

I am the owner of a 2023 hb turbo. The only changes to the interior of the 2024 Mazda 3 are the addition of wireless charging and a slightly larger central control display, which is progress. I noticed that Mazda made a slight change to the color of the air conditioning control panel buttons and the steering wheel scroll button. This is a meaningless change, and even uglier. The steering wheel scroll button was originally chrome-plated and now it is black. Then they added one button to the upper layer of the air conditioning control panel, making it 7, and then moved the two front and rear glass heating and defrosting buttons that were originally on the lower layer to the upper layer. The upper layer is full of 7 buttons, but the lower layer has two huge blank buttons. I don’t agree with the aesthetic standards of Mazda designers. These two changes are completely backwards. As for the appearance, there is no change at all, which is a bit disappointing. I guess many people hope that Mazda will change the window chrome trim to black. Using window chrome trim on a sporty hb is a failure. In addition, it would definitely be welcome if the wheel style and tire width could be updated.
Overall I’m not a fan of the red interior but it looks nice with the black.

Touchscreen sucks. The knob is far superior because you can use it while driving without taking your eyes off the road.
But if you all prefer laggy buggy crappy touchscreen experiences by all means
I use to own a 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback. Since 2020 when Mazda introduced this redesign, I have not been a fan of it and I honestly won’t be. I moved on to a CX5. I’m very happy with it
I still drive a 2015 S Touring hatch and I love it.
