Not sure if this would be your kind of thing but I sent you some pics anyway. I was recently given a box of Aldis Signalling Lamp lenses that have service lables placing them at Tangmere in 1943. I was thinking about sending them to the museum that's now where the base used to be. :)

Yes the war to protect Poland because Germany invaded them but zero problem when the Soviet Union did for some reason. Oh no it was to protect jews. That's why there's memorials of them thanking western countries all over the place right?
