Ran a 228/232 .617 108lsa stock stall 775 idle 5.3 for a couple months, pretty much any cam will run and drive on the stock stall, but this cam really seems to enjoy the stock stall definitely a cam for the daily driver not looking to do too many mods, impressive.

Im currently fighting a sticking lifter in my 5.3.. i priced new lifters and for what its gonna cost and the amount of work involved to change them if i cant get it to stop sticking, im just gonna take the opportunity and toss one of these cams in woth some fresh seals and new springs. Itll also give me the opportunity to start dabbling in HP tuners which is something I've wanted to learn but havent had a good reason to get into until potentially now..

I dont think ppl understand how the tuning works with a cam in a ls. You can set it to behave differently in park and nuetral vs in gear and coasting. I can set mine to chop hard in p/n and idle about stock in gear and stock when coasting to a stop. Im idling about 725-750. The over and underspeed spark tabs in hptuner will let u make these adjustments. My lq4, decked 243 heads, ss2 cam, and full 3" duals with stock 4l60e and stock torque converter behave almost stock with that tune.
