About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

"Do you know why husbands die before their wives? They WANT to!"-- Al Bundy
I used to love watching 'Married with Children' back in the 90s ..only nowadays I realized how ahead of its time this show was.
"I don't understand women. Women understand women. And they hate each other." Al Bundy.
Mandela effect.
this is quotable
@@Account-br9kc someone should use this as their senior quote in the yearbook
No wonder Joe Tribiani is so good at women!! He learns from the true men himself!!
from a failed shoe sales man OH Please(Imagine it in MArcy's voice but even more nasally than ever)

Now I Know, Why in "Friends" - Joey is the only one, who get not married :D
Phoebe got married?
It's been a while.
@@Sweet_Venom0027 Yeah, she married Mike.
@Valkyrie's Shield *Facepalm*
Joey is the smartest one
Man, nostalgia hits hard with this show. I grew up watching it in the 90s.
This has to be easily 200 x funnier than anything on television today... to think this level of humor use to be normal.
This is funny! I miss this show!
It's not even funny. Can't get my head around it. Just weak lines with weird facial expressions and silly voices. Bizarre.
@Dameus Noir couldn't even make it the whole way through your comment mate. Just talking complete nonsense. I prefer shows like the king of Queens, curb your enthusiasm etc mid to late 1990s/early 2000s something that has decent actors, writing and not just a bloke that can't act grunting and talking in a weird voice. Really hard to watch.
@@henrycooper4213 cool thanks for sharing
If you lived through this time, you would know that this wasn't normal. Married with Children was a gem. Just like All in the Family decades before. These passed the test of time and are still talked about today because they were so different from everything else at the time.
I was a kid when this aired, and I thought it was hilarious. But my mom thought it was vulgar. It was considered trashy tv back then. Like Springer. It's only now being heralded for the great comedic writing.
Al Bundy, true essence of a man
@NOISEMAZE eh I'd the true essence of the average man it ain't pretty but it gets the job done
Al sneaking off with the veducci's television at the end of this episode 😂
I loved this episode. You know, in honor of the late Joseph Bologna, Al Bundy should make Charlie Verducci an honorary member of NO MA’AM.
I welcome the darkness 😂😂😂😂 love it
Vnnie dated kelly, but Joey didn’t like Rachel’s sister (also played by Christina Applegate)
Really she played Rachel sister?
@@conor-_C Yeah, season 9, "The one with Rachel's other sister".
@@aleksandari.7834 jill ?
@@conor-_C No, Amy. The other sister. :D
Jill was earlier in the show, played by Reese Witherspoon.
only a girl would know something like this lol
Joey Tribbiani himself, before he became a successful ladies' man, with an iconic catchphrase! 😉💕
Joeys dad packed on the weight!
@@kobrien4121 who is that man??
@@potownrob Joseph Bologna
In the flashback episode of friends, when Joey became Chandler's roommate, Joey is wearing the same clothes
LOL I died at the opening when Al says he would've watched it on TV but doesn't have it anymore because he bet on Vinnie's fight lol
*HAHAHAHA AL BUNDY STRANGLING ZOEY TRIBIANNI THE BUBBLE BRAIN BONEHEAD @ **0:35** I LOVE AL BUNDY 😂😂😂😂😂😂*
So Vinnie went up to rich women and said, “How YOU doing?”
At 3:32 Matt LeBlanc looks just like Michael Pare' as Eddie Wilson from Eddie And The Cruisers.
So after this, Vinnie decides to change his name, move into an apartment in New York, and become an actor on Days of Our Lives.
And became roommates with Elle Macpherson.
Yup
First he had his own spin off as Vinny
And not get married.
.🤔😑🖕.
Dropping red pills before red pills were a thing.
Yup. A bunch of losers failing at life, blaming the women. Sounds about right
"i welcome the darkness" line was so good
Ahead of it's time, before the red pill was even a concept.
Under the guise of comedy... truth & solid advice 😏
This was a "Joey" heavy episode.
His advice was the best advice *ANY MAN* can get: *DON'T MARRY*
And dont make new people.
As a woman, I second this. Had to deal with too many idiots and finally had enough. Way too many boring men who endlessly talk about themselves and/or think they're way better looking than they actually are lol I kept a smattering of friends with benefits and intend on keeping it that way. Never been happier.
@@copyright-ur1sf that's what happens when you pick bad boys.
sad thing is, by the time you wise up, the nice guys don't want you anymore either.
@@TheLaluciDaniel The "bad boys" I've picked have been: a 49 year old college professor, a 28 year old accountant, a 34 year old going for his PhD in psych, etc. I'm 39 years old. I'm not some kid who needs to "wise up." I'm not sure if you're inexperienced and are just parrotting some cliched advice you've heard, but many adults are now electing to live this way. I've never been interested in having children and my life's ambition isn't to get married (it's sad that a lot of younger women feel that way.) It's a pity my choice somehow threatens you, but on the other hand: I don't give a flying shit lol
@@copyright-ur1sf I'm also not a big fan of marrying, but all that monologue... seems more like directed to yourself rather than me.
That’s Joey for life! Al is right! Take all of his advice
Could you imagine if Joey introduced Chandler to Al.
1:34 Truer words have never been said
There was no other person who could play the, part of Al Bundy better than Ed O'Neill 😁😀😄😃👍👏🏻👏🏻I absolutely 💕❤ his character. I wonder if there is such a bloke about on this planet besides me ( although I am not quite as direct as he is YET!!!! 😁 but, still trying to learn more!!! 😁😀😄😃) that is just like him in behavior & sarcasm ( remarks) I do hope so 😁😁😁😁😁👍
2020 and this was hiliarioussss!!!
2021 still funny!
Pure gold
“Need more rich women in our tenement” hahaha
"I welcome the darkness" ..
I should've paid more attention back then 😂
this is really good writing.
Vinnie is pretty much just Joey Tribbiani but younger
They'll never make another one like this anymore. It'd get cancelled before the pilot.
You know this show is written by a woman right?
@@fortunateson2 Even better.
@@fortunateson2 Whats your point? Do you think we wouldnt watch quality content because its a woman? Or a trans or a black person? Stop projecting. Society used to only care about quality of character.
@@fizzbrew no that's what you think. Have a good day

Trying to figure out that man and his voice then it came to me...Big Daddy. He was Sonny's father.
If only Matt LeBlanc still kept this hair......
This show was ahead of its time. Everything Al Bundy said about women is true.
It was a satire poking fun at morons like you that actually believe nonsense like that.
And you by that comment, are clearly single
@@mattgray871 or he's been married three times and divorced three times, now single.
aha you got punked bro.
Best advice Al could give. Best nookie you'll ever have isn't worth half the crap you have to put up with to get it.
01:34 Al drops The Truth.
Wish I'd taken his advice!
Two shows on FOX collided in one episode in 1991.
So much truth here.
Best advice EVER and even more today:
MEN, *DO NOT MARRY!!!!!*

MGTOW, whichever level fits you best; blue, purple, red, or black pill.
THAT'S A FALLACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic
Ah the world is such a better place now, that humour has been banished. 💋😬💋
100% accurate
this shit is spot on til this day
That's good advice
On a scale of one to ten Matt was a twelve!!! Still is!!
Al didn't wash his hands
That episode was a back door pilot for a spin off show.
Al Bundy is a great role model!!😮😮 Only thing I can't understand is doesn't eat (always broke), but he's always on the crapper!!, in the John!!!😨😨😨
He can only afford $1 gas station burritos
@@raymondkidwell7135 those things will kill you...I guess if you eat Taco Bell or White Castle you can eat anything.
Good scene right here
Oh, this is where the Verducci master-plan comes from!
He is so cute....
He thinks he has a vote.
i dont get why that spin off did not succeed. ive seen a few episodes of it and it wasnt bad
The acting is Emmy cal. 😁👍
1:37 FACTS!
I guess that was the golden age of TV before PC took over .
Al has got everything figured out
1:21 "Al, you're not much more than a busboy. The kid is at a difficult age. Where he just might turn into a you."
10 Years of F.R.I.E.N.D.S later...
Facts.
I kind of wish this spin off took off. The Vinnie/Joey character seems out place in preppy "Friends". But feels right at home in this MWC atmosphere.
When you stay Single....your bank account will Jingle................ (truer words were never spoken)

That’s sonny’s dad from Big Daddy

Plot twist: Joey and Vinny are cousins.
I should have listened to him.
Matt Le Blanc later to go on to play Joey from a little known sitcom...Friends Like Us! NBC on Thursdays
Al created Joey.
damn Vinnie/Joe was pretty good looking back then ☺️😍
Why is the algorithm showing this down my throat now
Classic
In less than 30 seconds Al Bundy summed up what marriage is like for men in western society @1:33.
so matt was in two classic shows
Thats the guy who plays Adam Sandler's dad in Big Daddy
The guy that plays Vinny looks familiar.
The Truth by Al Bundy.
I welcome the darkness
Matt is looks good in jeans..
Lol they broke character when Al came out.
This is prob why I’m 36 and still unmarried...cuz I watched this growing up. That and my shit personality.
Mate, you don't need personality to marry - You need youth, a paycheck, and some dreams.
Lmao
JOEYYY
Was that supposed to be a spinoff show?
This spun off into "Top Of The Heap" which only lasted a few episodes, and that spun off into "Vinnie and Bobby" which didn't last long either.
@@kwb377 never heard of Vinnie and Bobby.

If you wonder what happend to Vinnie...
He's now working in a lab in Bold and the beautiful.
Not the same actor🤣 but sure as hell same character including the attitude. Hahah
