Fantastic - Gary you are the master of off the cuff banter, putting people at ease and having a bit of fun that provides not just a headshot but an experience.

Reminds me of the days I worked for Lifetouch doing school portraits.

    1. A couple of questions. Would the overhead light also serve as a hair light?
    2. If it is used as a hair light, how does this apply to men who are bald or balding.
The general rules is to not use a hair light for men who are bald. Thank you.

Tony, I think it's such a large soft light that it's different than using an actual hair light designated to highlight the hair. I think it would be fine. We use soft boxes for headshots and I have a bald guy as my featured headshot on my website and he looks great, I got such a natural expression out of him, it's one of my favorite headshots. Edit: I didn't notice the light overhead light he had until just now lol. We don't use overhead or hair lights for group headshots.
