When I worked at Harris Granby corner (blunts shoes) in 1970 he owned the medieval schoolhouse next door. He burnt it down for the insurance money and so he could use the space for a car park. Wish I had taken a pic of it. Apart from the Guildhall it was the oldest non church building in the city.

Soulsby has destroyed Leicester with his awful design ideas. Spends a ton of cash on some pedestrian walkway only to tear it up barely 2 years on and replace it. Makes no sense
