Bagsakan is a rite of passage for Filipino rappers. IF you get to perform it with a previous participant, or better yet, one of the originators, it tells the rest of the country you have truly made it as a rapper. If you listen to the lyrics, they still give homage to Francis M, the father of Filipino rap.

Efra the bassist is Karel Honasan and the drummer is Michael Alba, very well known in the music scene in the PH. With KZ, they do insane arrangements of songs. And KZ is very involve in the way her songs are done.
KZ collating with Gloc 9 and creating their own arrangement of his song "Sumayaw ka" is literally the best things ever! Especially when I saw them live. If there's anyone to watch it should definitely the living rap legend Gloc9

You guys can really appreciate this because of your musical background. I am just a listener and it already sound difficult for me to keep up with the ups and downs so much so playing live this difficult arrangement. Kodus to the musicians they might have a stiff fingers after this.
I've watched this concert live with my mom as my post mother's day gift to her because we're both KZ fans, best concert i've watched live, no dull moments and just her voice alone is everything(referring to her close to you version)..and the crowd were gone wild even my mom in most of her upbeat performances..very talented and humble artist.
This is so far the best episode I heard from the 2 of you. Seeing Efra so excited, saying "play it, play it!" Lol. I watched the whole podcast episode.

And this one is so lit I have to agree how freaking good the musicians are. They gave the songs powerful vibe and the level of difficulty is insane. I must have imagined it but Clog9 seemed to be overwhelmed and I can't blame him at all. The changing of phase and style of these musicians are just so plausible. I got tired watching and listening but I'm going to watch again because I just have to admire their craftsmanship. Blown away.

Let's hope so. But it might be very difficult. I recall years ago when a Turkish reactor was requesting to get an interview with KZ. I think it was the same year KZ did Singer & this concert. It didn't push through for various reasons, mainly her tight schedule that time, esp. since she had a world tour planned & a movie to film then. Also, they might need permission from KZ's management for her to appear in the podcast, I'm not really sure about the procedures since KZ's under a strict contract label. Though, since the world is still at a halt right now, perhaps this may be possible, fingers crossed 😉
