Posledným pôvodným hudobníkom zostal Gary Rossington, ktorý v decembri 2015 dovrši 64 rokov. V USA boli albumy skupiny ocenené 23 platinovými a 2 zlatými platňami. Najúspešnejší Their Greatest Hits z roku 1989 získal 5 platinových platní.
