Just finished re-spoking the rear wheel on my old Norco Bigfoot and have had it out for a few short spring rides. I put drop bars on it last fall, and I'm really liking it, as an alternative to my road and touring bikes, for banging around the trails and downtown streets. Always enjoy your vids.
The used bike market here is insane. You cant find frames, parts, wheels, nothin. And if you do people want crazy prices for them. Sweet chill bike though! I dont have a proper "t-shirt ride" bike in my collection yet. Trying to find something with good tire clearance can be tough as well. Take care Jeremy 👍
It’s like that here now too. I think I’ve seen a 10 fold price increase. All I own now is t shirt bikes. 😆 I remembered when I used to try commuting on a full carbon Allez. Fast as can be but just didn’t seam to work right. Surly has some decent (affordable) frames that accommodate fat tires and the sweetness of steel is so good. Midnight special is a “road geometry” frame with the weight of steel and clearance. But I’m brand loyal to them for now but I think the whole gravel bike thing is bringing in interesting options from a lot of manufacturers. It’s a good time to be in the market for a road bike with fat (I mean body-positive) tires. 😆👍
The VO stem looks nice there with the drop bars!! Only thing is that I find the stem/headset area looking quite busy, but thats just the nature of those parts I guess. It's a nice bike!!
Hey love ur vids… & sorry to bug you about this on multiple videos… but what size Knipex wrench is the one you recommend? 7-1/4” or 10”? Referring to the vid you made specifically for the wrench about a year ago haha. Thanks!
Man right now they are so expensive. I find deals now and then on Kijiji and that’s also where I get a lot of my parts. I just can’t believe what people are asking for some of these bikes these days. Check often and there are still some descents prices out there. I hope your search goes well for you. 👍
A very nice bike!
Thank you!
Looks mighty fine!
Thank you!
Very nice and calm video. Thank you. The cinematography is great.
Thank you so much! Thank you for watching! 👍

Thanks! Yeah it kind of is busy. Chances are I’ll change it to something else in the future but it is feeling really good. Cheers👍
