Best band in history. No one can even touch some of the awards and being on the Billboard 200 charts for 13 years and the prism on the album cover on Dark Side of The Moon is the most recognized icon in HISTORY! Beat that. Floyd can't be touched and David Gilmour is a guitar God, nobody can play a slide like he can or make a Fender strat scream like a demon. This is THE MOST amazing band to enter the world. 💙💜 Pink Floyd! Sad they're retired but they still live on, I've passed them down to my son and he has tried to play some of Gilmour's solos, but it ain't happening lol. Only imitated, never will be duplicated!!

An amazing song by an amazing band. Born in '69 and went thru hair bands, grunge, etc., My brother left me this album along with many others. NO BAND compares to Pink Floyd....

For some reason I always find myself listening to Floyd when I'm depressed. I think they are the closest to expressing how I feel deep inside when I am in a low mood. I feel almost as though I've been robbed, betrayed by those who were supposed to nurture and take care of me and protect me. Well, yes, I suppose I have been. And there you have it.

Today, Mother's Day, I wonder what it would have been like to have a mother. I was abandoned at 6 months and have never met my mother. I don't even have a picture of her. I don't know if she's alive or dead, nothing. I wonder so many things, like if she would have been loving, if it would have changed me and my life to have had her in my life. I see everyone posting about the love and respect they have for their mothers, and all I have is an empty hole. I will never understand how or why she could have just left me and never looked back, but even though she did, I wish she were here, in my life. It's hard to wrap my head around it, it's hard to come to terms with something you can't understand that affects you so deeply.
My mother died when I was born, so I don't really have any feelings, good or bad. Strange isn't it. One thing everyone out there seems to have in common is they all had mothers. Maybe not fathers, but always mothers. I guess we'll always feel a little out of place. Thanks heavens for good loving music and art. And Mother Mary of Jesus always helped me too.
Jason, we all have to trust and believe in something. I believe all Mothers are loving and want the very best for their children. I believe your Mother made the greatest sacrifice of all when she gave you up. I believe she loved you beyond measure and choose for you to have a better life than what she could provide. Her choosing not to be in your life was the greatest gift she believed she could give you. The hardest thing she ever did was giving you up.

Many great singers from back in the days 70s and 80s were really one of the best rock and roll era's there was. about to burn a fat bowl for all the great music that was left to those artists that r no longer here. But their music still is. One day we will not b here as well and let's hope at least that this music does not extincts for a very long time still... I'll take a toast to that boe!!!
