Is Squarespace ok for affiliate marketing -is the SEO just as good?
It’s crazy to see Nate making contents for 3 different CZcams channels
@AMELIN web-production yes what's the third one?
This guy seems familiar
you seems familiar with this familiar guy 🤔🤔 or is it?
Nope, doesn't look familiar ;)
its Nate.
@@SeetalMD thanks, captain obvious.
@@muhammadamril7935 hahahah lol cute
I've used both for school and I need a website to make myself look like a pro. I like square space better but I hate making a website period. Thank you for coupon code !
Thanks for all the help - I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish what I have in my professional life without this channel
Thank you a bunch for speaking on security. That's a very important piece for people building and maintaining a website for a long time. I had my Wordpress site for near 4 years and about two different times I had major security vulnerabilities take place. The first time I had to hire a coder to come and fix issues related to my customers not being able to make purchases. The next one was more recent where I totally lost admin access to my Wordpress site due to malware. It was baffling. Long story short - I got a full refund from my Hosting provider and I think with this video and some add't research I'll just go with Squarespace.
Thanks for the clarity in which you broke down the criteria comparing these two popular web builders. It really helped me to make a decision over which one I want to use.
Excellent video. I was on the fence on the two and this helped me to go with Squarespace too. WordPress seemed too complex to deal with especially if you know little about websites, like me.
Very nice video - pretty good overview about all the pros and cons you have with the two options - thanks!
Thanks for helping me make a decision. I have used Wordpress before and didn't like it much. Squarespace wins for me because of ease of use and the fact that hosting is included!
What about Wix?
Basically agree with everything you say. If you start out, an automatic builder will better suit your needs for sure. However, there comes a time when you want to go pro and that means differentiating your site from others, at which point you will start cusomizing. And by that time, you wish you had wordpress from the start. On the other hand, you probably will want to employ a developer / designer for doing that anyway. PS. Siteground and most of the local hosting providers I know let you install wp with the click of a mouse button, db and all. So no trouble there...
Most truthful comment on here I 100% agree.
This is where you become a developer yourself and code a custom Squarespace template to differentiate yourself.
From a complete novice about to build a website this is very informative thank you!
That was very simple and informative. 10/10
I’m not tech savvy. This helped me make a decision. Thank you for this video. I’m using Squarespace.
Thanks for making this video. Super helpful.
Thank you this answered my question perfectly. 🙂
Great review brother.
Thx a lot, training has been perfectly helpful
This is great! Thank you for the code
Very good video Nate!
This is very useful information. Thank you!
You didn't mention performance (i.e. SEO and page load times). Did I miss it? This is a very important consideration.
What’s the best in this regard?
@@A12Diary Squarespace
For security which one better? For example our content can't be copied, or can't be sceenshoot both in smartphone and laptop.
thanks for all your help.
thanks for your help!!
Thanks, good explanation.
Thank you for this, very simple to understand. Would you recommend Squarespace if I wanted to create an Amazon affiliate site with multiple products and links to Amazon?
thanks for all your help. 😜
Very helpful, Thank u 🙏
Interesting points, but having an affiliate link for one of the 2 contenders means you have a financial interest to make it look better, which is the opposite of neutrality.
I love Squarespace
Thanks for the video
What is the advantage to using a hosting service?
Nate that jacket is cool !
Thanks!
So squarespace . Got it! Thank you.
Are they good in asia too?
Thank you!
nice analysis Squarespace easier for designer or non technical
Thank you !!
Squarspace have now increased their pricing
Personal was $12 - Now $15
Business was $18 - Now $23
Basic commerce was $26 - Now $35
💸💸💸💸💸💰💰💰
Hard to compare the customer service between the two considering Wordpress is open source.
I pay about like $350 annually for my WordPress however it has unfortunately gone downhill we're regardless of how much I paid for the service I'm getting no customer service I can't link my affiliates and now I can't use my own photos or have my own projects there
Problem is within your server not WP.
Why is WP so slow for visitors? I'm thinking of switching to SS. I love all the customisation but most of my visitors complaint about the site being so slow. Any thought?
Probably your hosting service.
Use cache plugins
squarepress and wordspace
I found based on performance, Wordpress to be so much faster in loading website and SEO.
i have a general rule of thumb: if it's chilled by a youtuber (as in sonsor)... big chance there's a better option.
wow so good
Can you add your own photos and videos to your website with Word Press and especially the header?
Yes
Nice content
Thanks!
Nice
Man, this guy in the video looks exactly like you🤔
wait a minute...
Yeahhh
HMMM🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
WordPress provides web hosting with paid plans
I'm already hosting on my own hardware and it's not mystical or hard. You just do a bit of reading and follow instructions. Both are content management systems at the end of the day. apt-get purge stupidity 🤣
So, I am a fine art landscape photographer wanting to build a site to sell prints of various images that come in different sizes and framing options. I want to be able to link with my Facebook business site, my Instagram site, my Twitter feed. I using Wave online account, so it would be convenient to like with that as well. Cost is not the most important consideration, but is a factor. My goals are modest - about 10 sales per month. I am considering Shopify, Big Commerce and Squarespace at the moment. What would you recommend?
Conclusion, if you are not a noob you are better off with Wp.
Or if you are a smart noob you pay someone to do it properly and go with WP.
What do you mean Wordpress is free? They have a free beginner option, but their Business plan is $25 a month, which is what most people would want.
Are you looking at wordpress.com or wordpress.org?
Yea this trips a lot of people
You are doing this backwards. You should help people in the process of deciding what they will need (which they do not generically know if they are creating a 1st site), then direct them to the service that will provide that end product.
The problem with template based site builders like Wix or Squarespace is that they are just layouts, with zero function and locked in use of space. If a new user would be satisfied with a billboard ad as a website, then a template is fine. If a new user expects a useful STRUCTURE of pages connected to pages with volumes of text or images, a template may be a dead end. It's like Legos vs woodworking. Legos are fast but only build Lego shaped objects. In wood you can build anything.
So, what do you recommend a newbie do?
SO very helpful!!!!! What is the name of your company???? I would hire you to do our website!
Wordpress anyday.
I am tech savvy
I DETEST wordpress. It is BY FAR the very most UN-intuitive inflexible ultra illogical app I have ever attempted to use. I have now had a WP site for 3 years. I still can't get it to do WHAT I WANT it to do and look. I even purchased a dedicated WP theme from Envato for the very thing I want it for. USELESS. It's pure hell. ...Just my 2 cents worth.
PS: 5:25 sorry, but 100% disagree.
If you're not a programmer than you shouldn't be complaining if you can't customize a theme. You shouldn't be saying a platform is crap when its clearly your incompetence.
Go on trust pilot for the truth. Sqaurespace doesn’t pass a rating of 2 🤣
Square space are crucks... way too expensive, sitting relaxed doing nothing and getting rich. Actual cost probably 1-2 euro/year.
i seriously need someone who has full knowledge of WordPress who has the time to chat with me about the site im struggling to build. preferably the chat would happen on skype (in real time) so i dont have to wait ages for a reply like on here at times!
