WHAT IS 'PROJECT REBORN'? ⚪️ ⚫️ 🔴
A 6-12 month initiative that will run over the course of 2024. During this period the aim is to (with the exclusion of team football) go through a transformation technically, physically, tactically & mentally. With the absence of team football, all my time and energy will be freed up to work on my individual weaknesses as well as being able to more thoroughly document this project ⚽️

Hey Oskar, before I changed my routine I was a bodybuilder, NEVER LOCK YOUR KNEES GOING UP AFTER A SQUAT. Just don’t want you to destroy your knees
Hi mate! That’s a fair point and totally valid, and I will definitely think about it going forward but at this fairly low weight I don’t see a massive problem with doing it. When you start squatting with very heavy weights or go into a heavy leg press, then I really agree with you and I have always been mindful of that 🙌
I didn’t know this, s when should I stop then ?
@oskarxjansson fair point but even with light weight, the muscle is under more tension without locking the knees up top which leads to more stimulation which leads to more gains🙏 just some advice:)
@@Brandonius Depends on what your goals are. Once again, you’re not wrong, a muscle under tension for a longer duration is a muscle that has to work harder, but is that really how we want to train for the pitch? For hypertrophy and muscle size increase, sure, but for athletic performance on the pitch where the goal is to able to move our body in an athletic, efficient and hopefully injury-free fashion, then it shouldn’t be our main focus
@@oskarxjansson Class response, fair point then again, I used to bodybuild/powerlift so thats where my brain is lmao, forgive me brotha, but yeah you right, I gotta train more for on the pitch instead for the beach.

Hi ,Oskar. Great work and inspiration, lovin' it, mate. That snow problem can be solved , if you have a shuffle, you can clear some area of the pitch, so that you can train. Solution.
Thanks! You’re definitely not wrong regarding the snow, however it was only really for a week that the pitches weren’t fixed (back to normal now) so I felt instead of wasting energy on clearing the pitch I focused on the gym, psychological and VR-sessions instead

I have the Meta Quest 3, but it should work just as well with a Meta Quest 2. I’m not too sure with other headsets but those are the ones I’ve tried and know works. BeYourBest works with both of those two VR-headsets 💪
