Rick is a absolute rhythm monster, I loved that guy!
Although they had their ups and downs, and as good as this guest appearance is in a different way, it makes you realise how right Rick and Francis had it musically. 👌 The blend of styles/guitars and the vocal harmonies can't be replicated.
Rick was number 1 always!

The image of Rick kicking off the night with that F barre chord of Caroline will never leave me. That red glow of Marshall on and off switches behind Rick as he cranked the volume with that touch of feedback just before that first down stroke hit. Any of us ,of a certain vintage ,will remember Rick kicking off with a wall of Vox AC 30s behind him .
