The sims 4 - How to make a music video/ machinima

- Well since Origin decided to have a sims 4 update. While trying to get the last bit of episode 8 done, I thought it would be a good time to make a machinima tutorial since I keep getting requests on how to make one.
What you will NEED:
a game recording software, you can use sims 4 in game recorder software but it is not the best. You DO not need to use the one that I linked below, there are other fps recorders better than this one.

a pose player for custom poses and animators also use this pose player for their animations. Would highly recommend if you're planning to use a lot of animations for your sim machinima.
modthesims.info... Teleport any sim this would work perfectly with the pose player.

Btw, for all you people who don't want to install a video recording software and is on Windows, Windows has one in-built. Just press the windows key and G and it will show up.

A quick question! Do you know how people do actions like of the sims crying and stuff like that, lol sorry if I sound stupid but! It will help a lot thanks!!!!!!!
They either use emotion cheats, which is said to be long gone. So the next best thing to control a Sim, in the sims 4 is using mods. You can either use the pose player, it comes with EA's original animation, custom animation or try your hands with sacrificial road to fame acting animatons/weebersu' cheat/script ui

It's so sad that making movies with sims gets more complicated with every new part. It was so easy with Sims 2. Sims 3 was still ok. But Sims 4 is just agony.

i just want to know how much does fraps cost and are you on pc or laptop also your specs
Should be $30.00, I haven't checked the site in years. I use shadowplay now, I am not using laptop specs, my laptop is a gaming laptop so it can handle things a pc can handle.
If fraps is not for you or you would rather use an entirely different program. I would recommend that you use one of these programs that seem to excel much better than fraps.
Shadow play
Pros: It's free, it records more smoothly than fraps it is pretty much the number 1 software alot of people reccomend you use.
Con: It is only exclusive to Nivida shadow play, your nividia graphic card must be GTX 660m or higher.
OBS: Is most likely the second to nividia. It does not require a nividia graphic card or anything like that. This one I was going to use before shadow play but I was forced to update my graphics card because it said it was out of date. Then when I did, shadow play automatically installed for me. Obs is free but there's a premium version of it, doesn't come with a watermark like most free to use recording software like fraps for example.
Like I said there are much more better programs out there than fraps. You will have to search what fps recorder is best for you or which one is the best bang for your buck.

I have the problem that the camera drive sometimes makes weired loops. Do you know (or someone in the comunity) what am I doing wrong? Would be very very glad if someone could help me.

SiMs Stories Okay. Hmmm if this only happens to me, than I am making some realy weired mistake. 🙄 Have to check your video again and follow it step by step. Hopefully I find out that way.

If you have your sims 4 cilent / sims 4.exe on your desktop right click the icon go to properties>Open file location it will be in your res folder. :)

as in back to defaults? you can just simply delete the cameraa.ini file and the game will generate or new one or just put it back to 2.0

You skipped out 90% of the tutorial; how to combine the clips together, how to add music, how to edit the footage, how to render and upload, what file types/formats to use. You showed the in game camera controls and nothing else, misleading title. Pointless video.
Everyone uses a different video editor for their video. I literally had stated in the video that I won't be showing how to use a studio that I use to create machinimas. After all it is common sense how to use your w/e program you're using for a video.
Don't see how the title is misleading since it's showing you just that not "how to edit your video clips/machinima".
It is very pointless, and its click bait. We wanna know how to add music and the most important stuff. You know the reason we even searched the video in the first place.
