If you already know it has to be heat treated then why didn’t you just heat it and use a different recipe why make for someone to do something you already know
I've ate raw flour dough and haven't gotten sick. Heat treating was never something to think about. Lol. And I agree with the first comment. If you already know about heat treating then just go ahead and include that technique in your new recipes.

Well in baking if you don't measure your flour and butter and liquid you'll end up with cake soup or a rock... Chocolate chips dont incorporate into the dough and don't effect it based off how much you put in. Generally the more the better lmao

I honestly LOVE this recipe, its delicious. If you want you can take your cookie dough and roll it into a ball then press it down so it looks like a cookie, then freeze it for 40 mins or refrigerate for 1-2 hours and it will be crunchy frozen chocolate chip treats.
As long as you live in an area where food borne illnesses such as samonella are uncommon you should be able to eat it raw. Just make sure ur ingredients are good quality.

The egg is generally safe anyways, if you rinse your eggs off before use you should be good because salmonella carries on the outside of the eggs shell

Note: one minute in the microwave might not be enough (even for bacteria in water, rolling boil for at least 1 minute is reccomended, which is pretty long when you also add the time it is above 65C). I'd reccomend either more time in thr micro or baking at low temp (like 100C is plenty, you don't want to exactly start toasting your flour at higher temps) for long enough to heat all the flour to that temp. Safety half-assed is sometimes worse than no safety (cause 'unsafe' cookie dough probably encourages some restraint).

@@LambGoatSoup Highly depends on the countries practice for eggs. Both cleaning and antibiotic. You can still get salmonella inside an egg, under poorer practices. Why most standards are to wash the eggs well (and keep cold if done so). AND use antibiotics on chickens. Keeps them clean inside and out. But again, even one or the other way are quite effective and doing both is just an extra measure for minor gains, but even with wall that you can never not have 100% no salmonella chance... tho its in such a small amount you must have a weak immune system to have an issue. I recall a article talkin about how a women had uncooked eggs as part of no bake cookie recipe from her mother. She continued until she was 80 and died from contracting Salmonella. Its stupidly rare now for sure. But no reason to risk a lot of the time. Extremely important for small time farmers that pick their own eggs to never try them raw.

Generally americans are fine eating raw eggs because unlocal producers powerr wash and disinfect outside eggs. And the woman got salmonella from the outer shell, because she would open the eggs and the infected hands touched the eggs, or the eggs touch the infected shell. Like handling lettuce after you put raw chicken to fry.... The lettuce is not bad, the bacteria from the chixken was I thought. I could be wrong tho. You never know.
@@LambGoatSoup as far as I am aware that it gets "into" the egg is actually by washing and not keeping the eggs cold. Washing and cleaning eggs removes the outside thin layer that seal and protects the egg from microbes and bactieria. So if not chilled or cleaned well enough. They will get into the egg and reproduce. The UK works around this by not cleaning the eggs but antibioticing the shit out of it so the off chance nothing could manage to get inside the egg at any point of development. Maybe keeps germs down on the outside too. But still clearly dirty with traces of whatever, so you must wash hands really well before touching anything. General rule, nothings 100% safe if its not 100% cooked, haha.

Note: one minute in the microwave might not be enough (even for bacteria in water, rolling boil for at least 1 minute is reccomended, which is pretty long when you also add the time it is above 65C). I'd reccomend either more time in thr micro or baking at low temp (like 100C is plenty, you don't want to exactly start toasting your flour at higher temps) for long enough to heat all the flour to that temp. Safety half-assed is sometimes worse than no safety (cause 'unsafe' cookie dough probably encourages some restraint).
Also, if she gets the flour to the temperature danger zone and it DOES have some bacteria in it, the bacteria will rapidly multiple.

Ingredients:
-flour
-butter
-milk (any kind)
-sugar
-vanilla extract (optional)
-chocolate chips
All you have to do is mix all these together and the measurements are below
-3 table spoons flour
-1 table spoon milk
-1/4 tea spoon vannilla (optional)
-2 tablespoons sugar (brown or white)
- as many chocolate chips as you want
-1 tablespoon of soften butter
Mix together and refrigerate for around 15 mins
If you want a little more flavor add a tiny pinch of salt
Then your done! 💛💛💛

I think it's different in some countries like America, since there have been infections linked to raw eggs and flour. However, where I live that has never happened, people eat raw eggs for breakfast. All of the eggs are free range not from an overcrowded shed. So I feel safe eating raw cookie dough but it depends where you live

@@FirestormDDash But the eggs themselves are not infected. The shells themselves get salmonella on them, so as long as you efficiently wash the eggs, they're still good to eat on the inside.

You can still get salmonella inside an egg, under poorer practices.
Why most standards are to wash the eggs well (and keep cold if done so). AND use antibiotics on chickens. Keeps them clean inside and out.
But again, even one or the other way are quite effective and doing both is just an extra measure for minor gains, but even with wall that you can never not have 100% no salmonella chance... tho its in such a small amount you must have a weak immune system to have an issue.
I recall a article talkin about how a women had uncooked eggs as part of no bake cookie recipe from her mother. She continued until she was 80 and died from contracting Salmonella.
Its stupidly rare now for sure. But no reason to risk a lot of the time.
Extremely important for small time farmers that pick their own eggs to never try them raw.

Generally americans are fine eating raw eggs because unlocal producers powerr wash and disinfect outside eggs.
Generally local farms will sometimes get contaminated because they dont wash their eggs or keep them cool.
And the woman got salmonella from the outer shell, because she would open the eggs and the infected hands touched the eggs, or the eggs touch the infected shell.
Like handling lettuce after you put raw chicken to fry....

@@LambGoatSoup as far as I am aware that it gets "into" the egg is actually by washing and not keeping the eggs cold.
Washing and cleaning eggs removes the outside thin layer that seal and protects the egg from microbes and bactieria. So if not chilled or cleaned well enough. They will get into the egg and reproduce.
The UK works around this by not cleaning the eggs but antibioticing the shit out of it so the off chance nothing could manage to get inside the egg at any point of development. Maybe keeps germs down on the outside too. But still clearly dirty with traces of whatever, so you must wash hands really well before touching anything.
General rule, nothings 100% safe if its not 100% cooked, haha.
