Hey hey, I'm BACK and I am once again doing a closet declutter because holy CRAP I definitely needed to do this so bad! I love clothes and I love to shop, and also, as a fashion blogger + creator, I am blessed to be sent a lot of clothing but I only have so much closet space. In today's video I am going to be doing a closet cleanout and organizing sesh. I am also sharing some awesome organizational products I found on Amazon to help keep my closet feeling organized and also create more space! Good start. I am working on downsizing my wardrobe. I was probably in the same boat as you in some categories. As I have been there, I can say, girl you have a lot of clothes. Like me, there is no way that you can actually wear half of what you own. I have implemented one tip to use on clothes that aren't for special occasions. I turn the hangers around. If I don't wear them in the season they are to be worn, I evaluate if I really need it. Liking something and wearing it are two different things. I try and make myself wear those items ASAP and assess how I feel in them and if I love them on me as much as on the hanger. There is a reason that you are not wearing certain things. If you don't gravitate to it for whatever reason, let it go (except if it is out of season or special occasion). Put the maybes in a box in another room in your house. If you don't miss them at the end of the season, let them go. When you have that much stuff, like I did, it makes life so much more stressful. Also, let go of most things that don't fit or that you would not buy or wear today. Yes, styles come back but you are sure to buy new things in the future. You could make/buy a cover for your grandma’s pillows and/or a ottoman pouf to store the blanket and pillow … that way they get used but they match your design style.
The art of “Declutter” is to let go, it’s a very tough gig and J you’ve given it a great shot except maybe you “skirted” that issue.The dividers & organisers are another super idea as at least you can now see what you “have or have not”.

You inspired me to clean my closet..... something I haven't done in 20 years! 🤣 I HAVE decluttered my clothes and stuff but to actually clean all of the random crap out.... it was bad lol
It was an all day project but SO satisfying and now I have room for tons of new stuff! Hehehe
I love to hear that! Seriously decluttering is like therapy to me! Anytime I’m having a tough time just like focusing my mind on that task and then afterwards the reward is a much more clean space it’s a win win!

Loves the first fedora on you! The second one definitely looked too tight. I have some classic pieces I’ve had since I was 16 and I’m now 40. They didn’t fit for a long time but over the last 8 months I lost 50 pounds and am finally able to get back into so many of the cute clothes I kept from my 20’s. It’s been so fun to shop my closet and find things I had bagged and put away and forgotten. I love a hood closet clean out too, though it’s usually the “trendy” pieces I end up getting rid of. Al’s though I got rid of some crochet shrugs a few years ago and now that are back in style and everywhere 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤷♀️😂

Actually it’s a top and a skirt I know it does look like a dress..both pieces were Shein but those pics were actually taken in 2020 I just wanted to revive them bc they’re some of my favs!
