“I will never see you again, will I?” That hit hard…man, what an ending
she was the mirage...all the way long. man, this game is depressing. But in a good way. It is simply sad.
Welcome to assassin’s creed; the series where everything is sad and depressing
Intially I thought the jinni was Loki, didn't expect it actually to be Nehal
I finally realised that Nehal doesnt exist after the duel with Roshan.
Basim turned to speak to Nehal and Roshan was clearly confused (since he actually spoke to an imagination).
I had a faint idea that this is a "Fght Club" situation at times before but that was the final clue.
Not to mention, Dervis and no one seems to talk to her either
8:22
"Where you go there I will go. Where you rest there I will rest. I will walk behind you every step of the way. You are never alone." -Nehal
Imagine higher creature with all the knowledge of his civilization is being re-born in new world, after being in darkness for so long, and light in the end, and soundtrack - incredible scene
Vader: Nihal is not real.
Basim: SHE IS REAL TO ME!!!
Starkiller vs Vader
Nehal is how Loki approaches Basims subconscious. And the jinni are all his memories of captivity of time with Odin. Once he embraces her and the the jinni he becomes one with Loki. The bird even cuts him because it senses he has become both Loki and Basim.
No.... its not how loki approached anything. Its basim who is loki struggling to make sense of his past and seeing the unexplained or hard to accept behaviour he has as an imaginary friend....
It's called mental health problems..... its not two people just basim
@@theangryimp1345no it literally is two minds fighting for dominance. Valhalla writer Darby McDevit said sages struggle with their memories and finally accept their past and joint their two minds
@@MrRaxicorniopholus it's meta.... Darby also said both eivor and odin are one person and not two different minds....
You're wrong 3 years on and its getting old. Given it was always stupid I'd ask if you would kindly stop pushing this misinformation.
Just because a youtuber tells you something doesn't make it true.
@@MrRaxicorniopholuswell u are not 100% right because eivor choose not to be like odin, ans Basim became loki so it looks like they have a choice if they wonna embrace old form right?
The sages have their mind and the ISU coexists within it, Odin wanted to overlap his with Eivor, It's similar to Silverhand in Cyberpunk.
Ah, clever. Nehal being a girl makes sense, as Loki (Basim's pre-incarnation) of myth is said to have been capable of changing their sex.
Nehal represents Basim's memories from his previous life as Loki - accepting her is equivalent to Basim embracing his Loki-identity.
Oh god no..... more gender swapping idiots....
Oh so that explains why Odin reincarnated is a Female (Eivor)
- Narrator: Because wer'e the same person
- Tyler Durden: That's right
- Fight Club 1999
Damn. I felt sad after the end. I liked nehal so much, I didn't expect a love story but i thought she was gonna join the hidden ones just to be with basim. But damn, what a twist
I noticed about nehal in his house.when they had a fight and he left house and i just get into house and saw there is no nehal but only way in or out was that door so i noticed there she isnt real
I feel like i would have liked it better if they went with the Frye route and made them twins, Basim trying to control Loki while Nehal embraced it, the two having their own missions and both being the Sage
idk what exactly happened to basim after ending but i noticed one thing of then eagle scratch him it is a mirror reflection of what basim dreamed about in beginning where was a blood drop in right cheek and then at end it was left cheek so not sure how much control did he get after it
It wasn’t it was on his right cheek in the ending bro
Its kinda sad when you think about it and why title of the game is Mirage
She's wasn't there all along
Makes him seem even more badass
So who saved basim at the begining of the game then? I dont understand
@@SoySilenthe killed the dude himself while hallucinating
@@lonesomerookie1778 then how does rowshan know about her.
Yes and No. Nehal is Loki's memories manifested to Basim as his imaginary friend that he grew up with. If you go back you'll notice that she never spoke to anyone except Basim, nor was her presence acknowledged by anyone other than Basim. And when he fused with her, he regained his memories from his previous life. And the Jinni is the manifestation of the trauma he suffered from being imprisoned in that machine. So now he's Loki again. He's still Basim in a sense of all his current experiences of his new life, only now he's fully aware of who and what he is. And his eagle rejected him at the end because it something about Basim is completely unrecognizable to it. Make sense?
Basim is just like me fr. They literally based him off me.
(The cute girl that follows me around and cares deeply for me isn't real)
Cringe kid, go get a job.
I love the concept of Nehal not being real, but I wish it wasn't Nehal lol. Nah I feel sad all over
Truly a Ryan Goslings' s vibe
Poor Basim
All this time she was in his head!? 🤯
She is Loki's consciousness. In the end they become one
@@nicholasroberts7891 in assassin's Creed Valhalla I fought basim he accused evoir for killing his son
@@th3blackghost214basim was referring to his Loki memories where Odin killed Lokis kid
Basim is Schizophrenic Sage
@@xboxone1543watch at 1:19 it basim who killed him
" where's my mind " tyler durden vibes
Reminded my of fight club
So Eivor is the Allfather while Basim is the Trickster God. Well it wasn't a surprise at all since it has been revealed back at Valhalla. But this game reveal how he become the Villain he would be at Valhalla.
Villain is Odin actually, Loki was faithful and loyal to Odin, until Odin found out with ai that son of Loki would kill him, which actually would happen because of torture and betrayal of Odin, consequences….while Loki was kept in prison plus love tragic story with aliteya and so on. Thus, Loki is not antagonist in common meaning
How is loki the villain? Odin is actually the villain and thus Eivor rejects him
I thought Nehal would be Aletheia sage or Loki s wife, not his alter ego or whatever
I confused about Nehal, and also I confused Basim wear Desert traveller outfit earlier and suddenly when he came outside from the temple his outfit changed into master assassin
She was Tyler Durden, but female. And no fight club.
Nehal is how Loki approaches basims subconscious. They become one at the end as Basim embraces Loki
@@zachnolan1639 it's weird that an arabian become Loki
@@ahmarelvirgio823loki is just an isu. The norse thing is just how eivor sees it
@@redharlow7705 Exactly
Hytham: forgive me for my behavior master. It wasnt my place to speak about Eivor. But i am grateful that you think im ready for the rank of master
Basim: You've been a good apprentice Hytham, and a much wiser man than i am. I forsee that you'll become a great Hidden One.
So nehal never was real 🥲
Yep 😢
"Will I be alone?
Where you go there I will go. Where you rest there I will rest. I will walk behind you every step of the way. You are never alone." -Nehal
Where do i seen this before 🤔
Now i get it, COD Black ops Mason and Reznov 😅
the numbers mason.....what do they mean
“All the years you thought she was with you. That was just in your mind!"
Then how did nehal kill caliph
Basim killed the caliph, it is just he did not remember it that way
they should not have changed his voice actor
They changed him because it was just Basim and not Loki+Basim.
In Mirage you are BASIM. In Valhalla HE IS LOKI. His voice at the end of Mirage changes to a more harsh toned angry one.
@@muhammadkhairanrozan9428
They also changed him since it was when Basim was younger, a lot of time is between Mirage and Valhalla since Haytham is just a little boy in Mirage and Roshan looks much older in her brief appearance in Valhalla
Just finished this game, love the gameplay, the story was not so good but the only thing I hate in this game is nehal, she was so fkin annoying
Nehal was great
