I love how they re-mastered this song into something new and incredible. Usually Conor's the one who amazes me the most but in this video Joe is giving me the most intense chills with those guitar effects, he puts me in a completely different place. Insane. Geen Belgische fan maar ik spreek wel Nederlands! Vanavond hebben Nothing But Thieves geweldige foto's over Pukkelpop geposteerd--was je daar? Ik ben absoluut jaloers omdat ik heel ver weg woon in Indonesië (en ze hebben nog steeds geen DCC tour data medegedeelt voor Zuidoost Azië) . Ik ook heb over dit band relatief recentelijk leren kennen, pas een paar maanden na het orchestraal versie van Impossible uit kwam. Dus op dit moment ben ik aan het terugwerkend ontdekken van Nothing But Thieves' oudere materialen--ik heb alle vier albums gespeeld en naar veel live videos als dit bekijken, en totzover heb ik nooit een NBT liedje gevonden die ik niet mooi vind. Alle vijf jongens zijn spectaculaire muzikanten, maar inderdaad, Conor vooral heeft een heerlijke stem, en zijn persoonlijkheid is ook heel lief en schattig. Ik weet dat België een speciale land is voor de jongens--Dom, Joe en Conor praat altijd over fantastische shows in België, en Conor blijkbaar had een van zijn tattoos in Antwerpen gedaan. Hopelijk zullen de jongens op een dag een live show in Indonesië plannen!
