One of the very favourite Supertramp, one of the very few that were actually written by both Rick and Roger

I consider this song along with the Crime of the Century song on the prior album to be generational in that, as I remembered back then, I tried impressing my parents by playing it for them.

My favourite Supertramp song, the string on the studio version are sublime.

Rick davis'voice just normal, but as soonn as Roger sings it becomes a work of art

I prefer Rick's voice , Roger's voice is special but his vocal style sometimes is irritating . It can be called personal taste .

Thank you so much !! I didn't know that a live version would exist!! Their two voices mix perfectly in this song and it's an underrated track in my opinion...

I was expecting to see a video with the live perfomance of this song. No a power point.

How many other songs are with both Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson on vocals?

Not many with a real duet like this, but School, Dreamer, The Logical Song, Breakfast in America, Child of Vision and A Soapbox Opera have parts by Rick, while Roger sings parts on Rudy, Asylum... and whenever they did Goodbye Stranger and Oh Darling live (I think the studio versions of those are all Rick).
