    Nice work !
    Fyi oil viscosity grades are largely climate dependent, which explains why the advice is conflicting.
    Colder climate, smaller #.
    Hotter, go larger #.
    (Also, use Full Synthetic Motorcycle Oil, only, for best results)
    Cold climate viscosity: 10/40
    Hot climate viscosity 20/50
    Hope that helps out !

    Got a question: You know that intersection coming off of the header pipe? Is that an O2 sensor and where does your line go to? They just ziptied my hose to the front fairing. Thanks in advance

      @@RC-ox9yx i actually figured it out and gave my bike an oil change i think i rode it like 500 miles its winter here. However i think my accelerator handlebar i might have messed up because it doesnt pull back automatically now

    One of my friends recommended that I change the oil when I just bought the motorcycle and use conventional oil, not synthetic 10w-30 10w-40, for the first 500 miles to help the engine break in, an then use synthetic oil is this true?

    • @Slane583
      @Slane583 Před 4 měsíci

      He's probably suggesting you use conventional oil for break in over synthetic because it's cheaper. The first few miles of the break in period is essentially an engine flush once the required amount of miles are achieved. A bottle of conventional oil is cheaper to waste for first break-in compared to a bottle of high-end synthetic. So from a cost view, yes it's true. I use AMSOIL Diesel 15W-40 in my scooter and it's almost $16 a bottle, you don't want to waste something like that for first break-in. A bottle of conventional oil at $6 or $7 a bottle is a cheaper choice for first break-in. Then you can use which ever brand of synthetic oil you like best from there after.

      If it’s shipped they use shipping oil to keep the inside your bike fresh.

    Hey! Please help me out, I just got my bike today, exact same as yours, you said not to push it over 40mph? My speed limit is 55 where I live, is there any reason I shouldn’t ride it that fast?? Thank you!

    • @RC-ox9yx
      @RC-ox9yx Před 5 měsíci

      The engine needs to break-in, so take it easy for 1st 1000 miles.

    Good video! Are your tires stock from factory? I asked because mine looks different.

    • @DylanLink
      @DylanLink  Před rokem

      Oh really? Yeah from my understanding these are stock! Are your tires different or the wheels different?

    • @vitiosus701
      @vitiosus701 Před rokem

      @DylanLink Wheels is the exact same as yours, but tire pattern is different. First time owning a bike so this video will help when I hit the 300miles mark. I was kinda surprised my state requires a motorcycle license for this scooter. Whelp, guess I should've researched the law better. Live and learn 😅
