Today I’m showing you the simple ways to change your own oil without spending a lot for others to do it! GY6 engine| vitacci rocket oil change 15w40 engine oil 80w90 gear oil Thank you for watching! Enjoy!
Nice work ! Fyi oil viscosity grades are largely climate dependent, which explains why the advice is conflicting. Colder climate, smaller #. Hotter, go larger #. (Also, use Full Synthetic Motorcycle Oil, only, for best results) Cold climate viscosity: 10/40 Hot climate viscosity 20/50 Hope that helps out !
I spent a bit breaking in my bike then done oil change, then got 300 miles before next oil change, went 1000 miles an done gear lube change, bike runs good.
I have venom motorsports x-21 50cc dong fang SRT 50cc moped, with a gy6 engine, can you do a rear drum break if yours does or not,i know theres a spring back there under like when draining gesr lube that goes for the breaks to make adjustments. Im still learning on my bike an doing maintenance work
Got a question: You know that intersection coming off of the header pipe? Is that an O2 sensor and where does your line go to? They just ziptied my hose to the front fairing. Thanks in advance
@@RC-ox9yx i actually figured it out and gave my bike an oil change i think i rode it like 500 miles its winter here. However i think my accelerator handlebar i might have messed up because it doesnt pull back automatically now
One of my friends recommended that I change the oil when I just bought the motorcycle and use conventional oil, not synthetic 10w-30 10w-40, for the first 500 miles to help the engine break in, an then use synthetic oil is this true?
He's probably suggesting you use conventional oil for break in over synthetic because it's cheaper. The first few miles of the break in period is essentially an engine flush once the required amount of miles are achieved. A bottle of conventional oil is cheaper to waste for first break-in compared to a bottle of high-end synthetic. So from a cost view, yes it's true. I use AMSOIL Diesel 15W-40 in my scooter and it's almost $16 a bottle, you don't want to waste something like that for first break-in. A bottle of conventional oil at $6 or $7 a bottle is a cheaper choice for first break-in. Then you can use which ever brand of synthetic oil you like best from there after.
Hey bro can I send you a video of me starting mine up an see if you can give me any hints on my problem ? It starts up stays in idle an if I give it gas it shuts off it’s like I can’t touch the throttle at all
Hey! Please help me out, I just got my bike today, exact same as yours, you said not to push it over 40mph? My speed limit is 55 where I live, is there any reason I shouldn’t ride it that fast?? Thank you!
@DylanLink Wheels is the exact same as yours, but tire pattern is different. First time owning a bike so this video will help when I hit the 300miles mark. I was kinda surprised my state requires a motorcycle license for this scooter. Whelp, guess I should've researched the law better. Live and learn 😅
Great job walking us through the process.
I’m glade I found u bro I got one I’m rehabbing nobody in my city has one but me 😅😂
I’m glad you found me! More content soon! Like and subscribe would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Heyy i transported my bike on its side, and now she won’t stay crunk. How do I fix her? Please I need help
Does it have a filter?
How often should you change the oil?
great video
you made this super easy. i do have a question mine sounds like its studdering or putting while started. any clue on what it is
Sounds like you need a valve adjustment.

If it’s shipped they use shipping oil to keep the inside your bike fresh.

It’s definitely a carb problem
Having the same issue, came to a stop sign and it just shut off on me and I kept starting it and everytime i touched the throttle it turned off on me

The engine needs to break-in, so take it easy for 1st 1000 miles.
Good video! Are your tires stock from factory? I asked because mine looks different.
Oh really? Yeah from my understanding these are stock! Are your tires different or the wheels different?
