I agree, some have been good individual signings. But given the number of signings the effect on the overall team performance should be a lot better. That might just be on Beale's managing, but I don't think he had a real plan on where he was taking the team. As for individuals, some couldn't handle the pressure of playing here (or the weather) i.e. Lammers & Cifuentes. Raskin, to this point, has been a dud. And I would include Dessers (for the amount paid)... for that money, he should have finished so many more easy chances (certainly enough to eliminate the current goal difference).

I reckon the key tomorrow will be how well Tav deals with Maeda. If he matches him, he will grow in confidence, then the team can feed off it. But if not, Tavs head will drop and it will be a lonely place for him and someone else will need to step up quick. The captain needs to lead by example! We need to win the 1v1 battles all over the pitch and prioritise dominating the midfield. There's a sense of cocky arrogance oozing from over there..would love to serve them some fresh humble pie. Its gonna take a regimented, determined, team display to get the win. No empty shirts. We wouldn't be deserved Champions if we couldn't beat the other party in a two horse race - all season! We all thought the league was over before Christmas then on cue as has happened over the past several seasons a core group of players who have been involved in every end of season collapse not having the grit or self belief that they can do it, winning the league in front of empty stadiums but fail in full ones is telling. Dessers has had the same chances in front of goal as Negri but no where near the finishing if he had the league would be over
