Visit the Stitch Festival 2024 with me

Come visit the Stitch Festival at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London with me for 2024 which took place from 21st-24th March. This show used to be the Spring Knitting & Stitching Show held at Olympia, however due to renovation work, it has moved to Islington. The venue is split over 3 floors with stairs between each, however there is also a lift available to all floors and seating spaces tucked away too.
This show's focus is most definitely sewing, stitching, cross-stitch, embroidery, and dressmaking based, with the odd yarn vendor too. Therefore there were plenty of fabric stalls, various embroidery and cross stitch kits, as well as felt products and much more.
I hadn't planned to make many purchases, mainly to visit the TOFT stand for 'show and tell' with some of my makes. I loved speaking to Kerry and the TOFT ladies Beth and Natasha, everyone is so knowledgeable of the brand and the crochet stitches etc as well as what is required for every single animal on the stand too which is remarkable. I picked up my exclusive patches and will need to find somewhere to display them with pride.
I had hoped to pick up a copy of the Imaginarium book from TOFT however due to the release of the latest Eds Menagerie edition it wasn't available on the stand. I did however pick up a copy of the TOFT quarterly magazine with the dinosaur patterns that I have been eyeing up for some time, and at a bargain price too as it was the last one on the last day. In additon I bagged another crochet hook, and yarn to make both a Triceratops and Bryony the Whale Shark too.
Whilst visiting the rest of the show, I also picked up some fabrics from Lili Fabrics, and Rainbow Fabrics, as well as picking up hardware to make some 'Retreat bags' from Purple Stitches. My last purchases of the day came from Botanical Yarn.
