It was 2-0 when Gabriel Jesus's shot narrowly crossed the line before Raheem Sterling kicked it further in.
Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne came off the substitutes' bench to score City's third goal in the one-sided final.
Jesus got on the score sheet again on 68 minutes before Sterling added two late goals to complete the rout.
