Looks cool, thanks for the preview video sir! In VR the in-game FX effects suck nearly 5 FPS on a 3080ti rig when banking etc. plus the added stutters through the transition period. So I have them all disabled, and not willing to purchasing anything that will bring back a stuttering mess again, (hearing bad things about 15 already from some that have tried the beta) not looking forward to this or the new update! I'm sure non VR peeps or 4090 users will be fine with this, enjoy!

looks a good add on i will most likely buy it when released for xbox if the sim is still working after update 15 think that will be put back i hope after the problems the beta as had with most planes not working on xbox
Looks a great add-on to the game & hopefully with the missions on the upcoming MSFS2024 sim they'll be many fun hours had. I'll be hesitant with my little Xbox Series S for now, but through the magic of YT I'll be watching others.
I think they'll optimise this for the Xbox consoles - might have to pick it up for my Series S too ;)
I purchased it yesterday. Just finished a full flight with it, watching comets fly by plus all the effects it brings its a musst have!! Great video and im loving SimFX. Just waiting for them to update the fenix :) But yeah its a great product, ill have to fly over the poles sometimess for a realistic effect of the aurora!

Iv been waiting for someone to develop this since I saw they added physics based effects last update or couple updates ago? Just bought this today and I love it. Even tho it’s subtle and limited right now since I fly Fenix, Comanche, and PMDG. And the 172 won’t have any either since it’s an encrypted aircraft lol. So I guess hope they (WB-Sim) see it before SU15 update releases. I don’t see why the latter three wouldn’t tho especially Fenix or pmdg. Makes it so much more immersive.
It does help to add more immersion to the Sim.
The "I demand accurate weather!" people will be overjoyed that the aurora can be switched to real time. Sad that FSX featured aurora as a standard part of the sim but 2020 doesn't.
They will hopefully be a standard with FS2024.
If you watch the MSFS 2024 trailer, many of these effects will be included in the base simulator. Moving trees, dust, etc. and they look very good!
Let's hope that all happens with its release.
Never mind about the effect on the surface of the water, just look at the hover just above the water👍

My fear with this and some other products is that with MSFS 2024 (hopefully) releasing October-ish, could you find that these kind of effects have been incorporated in the new code you've wasted your money.
That may well be the case; good points.
To a lesser extent, this is always a risk with terrain meshes, hand crafted cities (I have paid for London, Paris, Dubai and Singapore) and airports, which frequently get included with world updates.
Bought it upon seconds of release. Loving the contrails and heat blur from the engines(haven’t seen a difference with APU heat blur) Only issue I have is that my contrails always only disappear at 13000 feet.
A patch should be incoming soon I reckon.
I was worried about the fps impact. But looks like the report is not to worry!
Not seen any FPS loss at all so far.

I don't think that's a thing in MSFS currently.

Rewatch the 2024 trailer and you will see downwash moving the trees!

I'll wait a bit. 25 quid is a bit much for me. Don't get me wrong I would love having SimFX, but I'll wait as I said.
I agree. Like I mentioned: £15-£20 seems better priced for it.

Not sure TBH. I shall keep investigating.

I've not encountered any FPS impact whatsoever so far - which is quite the feat!

Maybe £15 at the least.
Most effects look quite bad graphically, the water effects and the Auroras in particular are completely amateurish. This is not worth $25 at all.
Looks good, but will never buy another P42 product after the appalling SkyPark rip-off.
I had never even heard of SkyPark until now -- is meant to be like NeoFly or OnAir?
