Watching Uti very often on Jara of course! I know he is smart but I never knew he has this rare take on life especially for a Nigerian.
Our ideas of success is very faulty and what we attach importance to..and like he said the Church is a VERY big issue..that prayer of "you will be the head and not the tail" get serious problem (who go come be the "tail"?)..of course I wantu be fine but lest be careful.
As a northerner, I see the lifestyle of my Igbos friends..the family pressure and I understand why they are hell bent on achieving and at times why some can do whatever for money
Uti took me deep (I had to pause midway to drop my two cents)
How about just wanting to be happy and give your kids a better life than you had..its a marathon, but we want our grand kids not to struggle na why e.g the politicians dey kill this country.
Lastly, hard times create strong men, strong men create good times..Good times create weak men and weak men create hard times.

1. BBnaija. Housemates enter depression because they want to live a new life people create for them. Bally said something some years back and I got a deeper understanding of things and I am happy he had that realisation.
2. Depression. When I hear people talk about depression is some kind of way to me..sorry for your pain, but forget it we have more important problems..tell that to a father who can't pay rent or feed his kids. If I go Yankee I will have the luxury of being depressed..look all the people who talk of being dep..they are well off (Naomi Osaka, Simone Biles) why Taymesan no dey depressed back in Delta? Asin make it an issue.

One day I pray I can tell my story on a big platform; I intern for like 3 years at a very big media platform (arguably the biggest media platform in Nigeria) a lot of listeners and my friends see me with the eye of a full staff and d financial rewards that come with that (imagine that load) even though now I am a full staff and this isn't even where I wantu be long time
We need celebs like Uti to talk on this high target more often to youngsters and even some parents
Tay, please do not listen to anyone telling you circumspection is suspecting everyone around you.
You exude joy and great vibes, don't let anyone change that. People will hurt you, disappoint you and maybe even betray you - chances are that you'll do the same to others. That's how life goes. Please keep living, loving and enjoying yourself. Good things will come. I love your work and the progress I can see and I hope your bag gets bigger, your love gets louder and your hard work is rewarded.

Uti really dropped deep words on friendship that I could relate with...
Listened on Spotify some days ago, came here to watch again. This made me see Uti in a different light and I can say he’s an amazing person and so knowledgeable🥰
When Uti said "Most humans aren't focusing on their minds and spirits"
I thought you were Uti when I first saw you with pastor Kinsley. Then I was also like, this guy was a start when I was a kid, how in earth is he still young. I was wondering where did the dreadlocks go. One moment I saw him with hair another moment no locks. After following you on instagram, before I realized or you too re not the same. But then again I Thor you guys were brothers(biologically). You are blunt T, but when you are with him, you seem to be Uti's nicer version. I love this episode. I learnt from Uti that it is okay not to achieve somethings by a certain age. You will make it when you are supposed to. Work it on your mind set, your heart, your character. So that you can better handle the future you so desire. And at the end of the day happiness and peace of mind it is all. Oh and I like that advice about friends too. If you can't be you with them in all seasons. Just walk away.
This can’t be a coincidence..!!! I’m actually watching this right after saying goodbye to my best friend few hours ago, (relocated to the UK) the part where uti talked about being angry with the country cox his best friends had to leave cox there’s no opportunity here,,, I can totally relate right now... I ve been bawling my eyes out, and wondering who I’d be talking to or having girls hangout with now.... I’m just asking myself here how am I going to find and make another sister out of another girl....😭 I believe God made me watch this video at the perfect time... everything uti talked about was what I needed to hear right now..!!
