I only read on the kindle. I always end up reading in the dark at night so it’s perfect for that. Definitely interested in more kindle videos! I have the older version. The new one looks really nice.
I didn’t know kindle has a font for dyslexics! My husband’s dyslexic and he’s constantly e-reading so this might make it more comfortable for him 💕

I love your book cases full of books!! My mom got me into reading when I was two and on she would buy me books for Xmas and birthdays and just because she even got me into reading magazines and those old TV guides lol and she and I are big Steven king and James Pattrson readers And I’m into ya too. But sadly my mom passed away November 6 th at 1:30 pm 2021 and now it’s so hard too pick up a book right now and now I also have all my moms old books too I can’t even look at them right now so watching you is helping me want too read again! FYI my mom was a big fan of your dads CZcams videos well the two vidoes he has

I think the kindle app may count as a "4th" kindle. You actually have an option to make the book your reading as your wallpaper while it's on sleepmode. Also you have an option for a different page turn effect!

I have the same case I placed my stickes on the inside of the case with out taking the backs off so I can switch out the stickers easier if I want

I chose the 11th gen for the slightly bigger screen, but I agree having all but my iPad use usb-c is so convenient. I will say that when I am laying down it is just cumbersome enough that I turn off touch screen mode so I can place my thumb on the screen but I think that is part of the reason for the feature. I LOVE my kindle lol, it is so much better than reading on my ipad and it is now a constant carry.

Your other kindle would be the app on your phone! For some reason they consider the app on your phone a kindle as well.

Hi. Really enjoyed this video for the signature edition. My wife bought me a refurbished 2018 Paperwhite early in summer 2021 for our anniversary. I’m not into tech either just reading. I finally learned how to download books and adjust the font size for my terrible eyes. I used to go to library every week and have to get large print books and the selection of those wasn’t great. Now I can read any book!
Do you think my 2018 version will last for a few years? Will Amazon allow me to still get books on this version for awhile? We don’t have the money to keep buying these things like people do for phones.

Sorry if these are dumb questions. I just don’t know this stuff about kindles. Did you try a pocket test between the 2018 version and this new one? The new one is bigger right? Does it fit in pockets ok? Well msn pockets. I know sometimes women pants don’t have pockets. My wife complains about that sometimes for her phone. Mine fits fine in a pocket even with a case.

There are kindles from 2010 that people still use today so I think your 2018 will last you quite a while. Yes, the new kindle is a bit bigger but it still fits really nicely in my small bag I carry around.

As a grad student, I understand not being able to buy books even ebooks for that matter. Therefore I use z-lib. You can look up which formats are compatible with your specific model. If you need help in uploading ebooks downloaded from z-lib, please let me know.

You can always find some type of used kindle if you're tight on money. They're usually in great condition too.

How do you change the wallpaper??
You can’t change it to a specific picture, but if you want the book you’re reading to be the wallpaper you have to pay for the ads to go away and then you can set your book as wallpaper
