I bought one of these a few months ago, but returned it. It did not seem to be nearly 550 lumens, but I do not have any real way of testing that as I do not have a light meter. I compared it to some other lights I had, and the ones I had that were rated at 250-350 lumens outshined it. I was more than happy thought with the fit and finish of the light. Love your reviews by the way!

T2 has large hotspot with a lot of spill, if your comparing it with lights with tighter hotspot, yes it will not look as bright as compared light of same lumens. It's physics. Take a light with 550 lumens and a very tight hotspot will look very bright but at cost of less spill.
Honestly when it comes to a self defense light you don’t want something super bright cause if that beam bounces off of a white wall it’s going to blind you esp if your eyes aren’t adjusted
The one written review I saw that mentioned a light meter said it measured 360 lumens, problem is we need a graph of power output over time to really say if it performs well vs. the competition.

is it ok to use 1.2V rechargeable double AA batteries?
1.2v double AA 1200 mah or 3300 mah?
@@jhomarrazon2015 1.2v is nominal but full capacity is closer to 1.4v. They should do fine but higher mAh will give longer runtimes. Thanks for watching!
