      My top bibs are 1. Q365 Salopette Dottore, 2. Assos Cento and 3. Assos NeoPro. But I would also give super high marks to Jakaroo (mine are Reggie branded), BioRacer, Monton, Nalini. Rapha Core are good but IMO their pro level not worth it. I also picked up a pair of Chaise bibs over the winter and yet to ride in them as they are definitely a 25C+ kit only.

    1. Endura Pro SL II. 2. Assos Mille ...
    Did 260 km and 4.800 elevation m in Endura bibs (in a day) and they are just fantastic. Chamois goes over Assos one. But when we speak about bibs we should consider our saddles also. My Specialized Romin goes perfectly together with my favourite bibs.
    Isadore, Rapha, Gobik and Galibier are on my "wish to try list".

    I'm new to bibs, only been wearing them about a year now and I just found a brand called Black Bibs and I love them. They are extremely comfortable, great chamois and they make a version for tall people, which I am. Also, this pair of tall bibs is only $65. I've only worn one other pair before this, so take that with a grain of salt. I have two pair and am really happy with them.

    My first bibs was Castelli Volo. I’ve tried different saddles, but the KISS chamois wasn’t great at all. Then Castelli Mondiale, Premio and Inferno. The materials are great but the chamois Progetto X2 it’s a no go for me.
    Then I’ve tried Rapha Classic and Core. Classic it’s a little baggy for me, but are ok, I’m using in chill or cool mornings, but Core bibs was a fail tbh.
    I’ve changed to Assos Equipe S7. Since then all my bibs are Assos Equipe, different models. I have 4 or 5, just love them. Around 140-160€ with discount. I’ve road 315km in 10 hours without a problem, in one day.
    My top it’s Assos Equipe S7 with purple chamois, then Equipe with the black chamois, then the Rapha Classic.
    I didn’t try Assos Mille which are less expensive than Equipe, around 110-130€, PNS bibs (I heard they are great), or Sportful Fiandre. I have a few friends using this models.
    Hope it helps!

Material is claimed to give aero gains, the material is certainly different to others and grips are awesome too. Second place is Santini Tono which are designed for hot weather, same chamois as the Redux. Third is the Knights of Suburbia club bibs, not sure who they’re made by but somewhere in China I believe. Chamois is quite thin but surprisingly good...rode 5 hours in them yesterday no problem

    I'm considering ordering 7 mesh MK3 Bibs (live in Sweden but was available here). Checked out their sizing guide and the only two measurements are waist and thigh. According to that chart I should have size S. I am 182 cm and weigh 77 kg however so seemed weird with S. Also have a long torso. Worried about the bib straps digging in on size S.
    On the only other bibs I own I had to go up to L size because of the straps. I could wear the M and even S if not for the straps on those bibs. But those bibs were of poor quality however. Maybe different with better bibs?
    So how elastic are the straps for 7 mesh?

    • @CharlesOuimet
      @CharlesOuimet  Před 2 lety +1

      I'm 170cm and 5'6 and wear the small bibs. so I think you need a bigger size! Elastic yes, but now crazy elastic
